By the way, Christopher Pickhardt and Jason Dale belong to the new generation of fimmakers that some day Charlie Rose will interview on his show.

The major newspapers in New Jersey already had long articles about these up coming filmmakers and their current movie “Fight the Panda Syndicate,” they also have appeared on television shows to talk about this film.

My favorite movie with Sir Ben Kingsley is Ghandi – about the life of Mahatma Ghandi. He was perfect on that movie – a great performance.

I enjoyed one of his latest movies – the one he plays a mob-hitman who is also a drunk.

Now here are the web links to my nephew’s new movie company and the movie that they just finished shooting in December 2008. The movie is supposed to be ready for theater release around March /April of 2009.

They are already working on the screenplay for a “Fight the Panda Syndicate II” and I could see Sir Ben Kingsley playing the major character on the sequel – A very smart crime boss who….

I appreciate your response Gustav, but I don't see how this helps me. I understand that luck plays a role in everyone's life, but why did my luck run out at the worst time?

This isn't about Sir Ben and how successful he's been; I could've posted my comment on many other charlie rose pages if I was only concerned about success. I'm concerned about the idea that they're are many people out there - good people - who are suffering and just haven't had the opportunity to be successful.

And what is so wrong with questioning people we look up to??? I think what your suggesting is very dangerous. At what point does any human being deserve to be untouchable??? I do NOT want to live in a world that subscribes to that.

A superb interview, one of the very best with an actor. This is a man who knows himself, knows the human condition and is unafraid to express himself. I was very moved.

Insight: He's been amazingly successful, he's knighted, his wife looks to be half his age. He has been extremely lucky and his belief doesn't need questioning.

Even though I hold respect for Sir Ben, it always irks me when he mentions "the gods" or that "everything happens for a reason" like he's done in other interviews(inside the actors studio).

I used to feel the same way as he did - for the most part - but recently my life was in a tail spin and I find it almost impossible to subscribe to these beliefs anymore.

If anybody has any insight to this, or just cares to enlighten me, I welcome you to please reply to this.
