"Change" just for the sake of "change", is not such a good thing. Take this website for example. It used to be the best. Now it's no better than any other. Before, I could jump into different costumes and play different characters. Can't do that anymore, too much trouble.

Thanks a lot, LIBERALS... I HATE YOU!

The more things change the more they stay the same. Call me a skeptic but no matter what party is in the White House its still the same insiders running the show. ~Beth

I voted for John McCain..who I supported after R. Giuliani opted out of the campaign. I thought Mr. Giuliani, the former mayor of NYC, and US Attorney, was, by far, the best qualified to govern this large, complicated country, and deal a final death blow to the Islamic terrorists, Jihadists, and bring the wars to a successful conclusion as quickly as possible (remember. C. Powell wrote after Vietnam that we should use overwhelming force in future wars. We didn't, thus Iraq's quagmire.). Lets face it, we are playing games there..not playing to win. Okay, so, Obama now is selection his cabinet..from old, and I mean old, Clinton's administration. I thought he wanted CHANGE, starting from the bottom up. Well, we are getting change all right, from the top down. The treasury secretary and HIS team, will approve a stimulus of over 500b. Ford and GM have yet to receive a dime proposed..while Honda, VW and Toyota continue to spend millions on soaking Americans into their vehicles. Hillary Clinton for Sec. of State, my gosh, we have short memories. But that is what these politicians count on. Obama is proving what I knew all along, he is not a statesman or a messiah, just your average politician.

More speculation on the shape of the new cabinet, a nice bit of reporting. Still, when I hear the words hillary clinton and secretary of state in the same breath, sentence or show for that matter I begin to convulse regardless the quality of the reporting. What happened to the time when the vanquished just fell honorably on their swords. Why can't the journalists please just let things unfold without causing me to heave in the middle of a otherwise good show. We need to regain credibility in the world, in what regard would she endevor to do that. Our current secretary of state flies around in a MiG jet preaching compliance, contrast that with Hillary, her dusty broom and empty rhetoric. The Clintons left office impeached, the whole term was one of turmoil.. Why not just let her do her job as a ny state senator, praise her efforts in that respect if there are any. Please stop speculating her into a place where she might only disgrace the country further. The country clearly does not want Hillary in the executive branch, I thought that was made clear with the recent election results. There is so much goodness in the world, let's embrace it and move on. If president obama decides she is the best qualified for that job, then let him say so. We can all then fall on our swords as a nation together. Or we can embrace her as his most favored appointment as secretary of state, whatever he says goes, but I'd like to hear it from him and not some reporter speculating on it, because it simply carries no weight in itself and can be irksome to listen to.

Lessig is brilliant on copyright and the connection between money and results (soft corruption) in government and in our own lives.

His ideas point in the direction of the changes I'm hoping for in our government and culture.

http://lessig.blip.tv/ his video channel that Rose refers to.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lessig His bio and varied interests. His thoughts are innovative, practical, and betray refreshing humility.

So glad also to discover this repository of Rose's interviews--thank you.
