Obama didn't run a campaign, he ran a camp meeting, as Bill C. did before him. They were both just as shabby as any itinerant preachers, too. He is seen as a victim by ppl who want to feel they are victims, too, and who hope that by some miracle their credit card debts will be expunged by transubstantiation. But you know, he hasn't been resurrected yet. It might be a better harbinger if instead of reading up on how Lincoln freed the slaves, he tried out Churchill's part about blood, sweat and tears. In any case, thankfully, Vernon Jordan seems to be a dead letter.

scene: team clinton hovering over the republican carcass, hillary drums pounding. Tonight vernon jordon reappears, soon to be followed by harold ickes in the next segment, soon the whole entorage. Quite frankly we don't need a secretary of state at the moment, that position is on hold, we are going to create a new position for you all, with hillary serving pluto, one in hades. What is it, must we pay homage by way of cabinet positions to the democratic party. Just what are her credentials other than mayhem madame of the hill. The democratic party must learn to keep giddiness in check, nose to the grindstone. There's real governmental work to be done on many fronts. It's a great opportunity to do positive and restorative things. Try to keep focus on the real people, the real issues. Lay the groundwork for the new president and bury the old.
