      Hello Charlie,

At the outset, would like to acknowledge that I really like your show a lot. Its great!

Secondly, this man...Amitabh Bachan, needs to be on the table once again, and please make sure this time its not for just 26 mins, but for a good hour, as this man is a LIVING LEGEND!!! And that is the least you can do!

I am not going to waste time in describing the good things about this man, cause it will never end.

Have him back ASAP and I garuntee you will not regret it! You have my word.

      Thanks Charlie!

      Rakhal

It is time to get this man back to the table! Please ask him the following:

      1. How does he feel about writing his own blog and being able to communicate to people around the world thru the Internet?

      2. What made him accept a role in SHANTARAM with Depp and if they have started shooting for the film. If yes, how has the experience been? If not, how and what does he expect to learn or teach, via the film?

      3. What does he feel about his films with RGV that seem to explore a psynchological aspect of power, age and adoration?

      4. Which directors does he really want to work with and who he thinks in India is doing well enough that he would recommend to the world?

I would urge you not to ask him the usual questions about politics, India, the Gandhis, his friends etc. What we want to know is how he can inspire the world. What we want to know is how he can with the power and the audience he has, bring the world to bear on our culutre in India and the like. We dont want to hear about his family, his personal life as that is none of our business. Being a public figure as he is, we can ask him about it but really, I think, a good interview would go beyond that.

So, PLEASE get him back to this table. As engaging as this discussion was, more can be done.

Charlie Rose has a wonderful personality - in many ways reminded me of Amitabh Bachchan . I always used to wonder how Amitabh Bachchan would do if he ever comes to Charlie's show. I came across this video and had the opportunity to see them together. I must say that Amitabh Bachchan had a very powerful presence on this show and didn't disappoint me.

Although I grew up watching Amitabh's movies in India, I had not seen him talk in interview before - much less on an American show. (Must say that Charlie is a great interviewer and flawlessly moved from question to question). I was impressed with Amitabh's poise, intelligence and personality.

It was a treat to watch this program!

Great interview with one of the legends of Indian cinema. I hope to see more Indian guests in your program to share their work, life experiences and their perspectives of the amazing Indian culture.

I was able to see the other wonderful side of this Greatest Indian actor through this interview. It shows even more of his great nature & intelligence. And that Amitabh Bachchan's serene smile...reminds me of being a 5 year old girl (living in Indonesia @ that time), who adores Anthony Gonzales from "Amar, Akbar, Anthony". I always adore Mr. Bachchan as an actor and as a human being. I am fortunate to enjoy this interview. Effortless questions and approach by Charlie on different issues, with sincere answers from Mr. Bachchan. And those laughs in between the Q & A from these two handsome gentlemen just top it off! Wish this interview is a full hour one; just can't get enough of Amitabh Bachchan!

However, I'm hopeful that there'll soon be another Bachchan interview with Charlie Rose

All and all...awesome work Mr. Rose, Thanks!

P.S. "Black" movie is superb! great story with wonderful message, excellent score & backgrounds, and awesome casts and director!

Being an indian and having grown up watching Mr Bachhan's films, this interview brought to the fore something bigger than his incredible charisma and screen presence. It was his was his humility despite all the adulation. This characteristic in itself makes him more endearing as an actor, and arguably the greatest indian actor ever.

Also loved the engaging questions about issues not relating to indian cinema which left me longing for more. Hope to see him back on the show for a longer interview.

      Thanks Charlie.
