I had to watch this conversation again, just remarkable. We SHOULD listen to our elders more...

LOL - just checked the year on the calendar hahaha!

I HAVE BEEN VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE BEEN PART OF ANTHONY DUKE'S LIFE FOR THE PAST COUPLE OF YEARS. HE IS A MAN THAT WILL TAKE YOUR BREATH AWAY AFTER LISTENING TO HIS LIFE ADVENTURES. HIS BOOK FOR THE COMMENT FROM AUDREY HADCOCK IS CALLED "UNCHARTED COURSE THE VOYAGE OF MY LIFE" THE BOOK IS A MUST READ. WE COULD ONLY HOPE THAT THERE WOULD BE MORE MEN LIKE HIM. GOD BLESS HIM AND KEEP HIM SAFE. SIS IN LAW.

I consider myself a participant as I join Mr. Rose and his fascinating guests. I, too, was particularly impressed with the wit and wisdom of Mrs. Siemens and Mr. Duke. I thought Mr. Duke mentioned a book, The Story of My Life, which I have tried in vain to purchase. Please continue to present this high quality television.

The Dukes and Mr. Rose were a fabulous conversation mesh--he brings out the best in people and is so prepared. If we only we could all be as sharp as Mrs. Siemens and Mr. Duke at any age!

Thank goodness we can now tape his programs: I don't understand why they are on so late at night.

I am a faithful watcher of the Charlie Rose Show and the interview with Mary Semans and Anthony Duke was clearly one of the best.

The intelligence and vitality of both of these wonderful people was amazing.

It was a treat to listen to these two people and of their experiences and contributions to help our society.

Both have lives well lived, and Charlie was at his best with these interviews.

I tuned in to see the interview with Judith Jamison, which was so joyous, not planning to stick around for the Dukes. What a fabulous duo they are! With their wealth and privilege, they could have led pampered and selfish lives. But they are so charitable and so giving of themselves. Maybe that is their secret to staying so intellectually engaged and youthful in their thinking and actions. I was truly inspired by them. Charlie's reverence for them, particularly Mary, was infectious.

I have nothing but praise for your show - and your guests, Anthony Duke and his cousin, Mary, were a joy and revelation! To hear the comments on life and experience in Such a positive way - the emphasis on giving to others and bringing people from different backgrounds together to change things for the better - we all need to remember that now -

It was purely by chance that I saw the program.

I hope that many young people who have had the advantage of education afforded by institutions connected with this family will model their lives after these two. I would like to know them and be able to sit and converse with them. Wonderful!

What a marvelous look into two lives of double cousins Anthony Duke and Mary Semans. I was enthralled from beginning to end. I agree it was Rose at his very best. Duke's stories (such as sitting behind Hitler at the Opera in Munich in about 1932) were particularly great!

Mrs. Siemens and Mr. Duke were refreshing and gracious. I quickly googled the family to read more about their contributions to culture and education. This is a remarkable family.

What a remarkable show -- Mr Rose was at his best!! I enjoyed both the guests and more than anything else, their vitality was invigorating. Wish i could write much more about my impressions of the show but a simple Thank You Charlie should do the trick.

FASCINATING SHOW. MY BROTHER WENT TO DUKE UNIVERSITY MANY YEARS AGO. THANKS.
