Wonderful interview... I also recently was able to see the interview from Nov. 1995.... What a great lady she is... I think I first fell in love with Emmylou back in 1976 or so when (in college) we saw her, THE Hot Band & Willie Nelson perform at the Boulder Field House in Boulder, Colorado. I have been a fan since. Was thrilled to actually get to meet her once in 1980, after a show they did in South Lake Tahoe. What a sweet, down-to-earth person she was and remains to this day.... And, oh that voice... that voice.... Thanks for the memories Emmy!

Awesome show. Emmy has just made a wonderful album with the great guitar legend Mark Knopfler recently. If anybody listening, please have Mark Knopfler on your show. He not only knows how to have his guitar speak it’s mind but also has a special way with his own spoken words which I think you‘ll find deeply engaging and refreshing, full of insights and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with his answers. It would be great treat for all his millions of fans. If you do happen to have him on your show please do ask him about the film scores he’s done which are absolutely fantastic.

Emmy's just simply the most soulful singer/songwriter i know of..i've seen her countless times all over the country..in terms of her personal interest in Dogs and Cats; she's a true inspiration..She is the best of us...

Great interview. Emmy's just the best pop singer of all time. She has an "edge" to her music that just cuts across all musical styles. I especially love her naming Maria Callas, Billie Holliday, and Dolly Parton as influences. That's an eclectic group! Emmy's August 2nd show in Santa Fe will be my 14th time I've been so lucky to see her live. Lucky me!

A wonderful interview that I enjoyed even more since I saw her for the very first time at her performance in Jacksonville. She is a gracious woman whose songs have reached deeply within me.
