I am trying to access Tom Wolfe interviews. They all come up "This video currently not available." Do you think this is a problem with your website, or with my PC settings? I'm on a local company network. Something may be filtering them out...

A little more Wolfe and less Rose, as usual. Charlie still hasn't learned that it's not all about him. A typical product of the 'me, me, me' generation.

Tom Wolfe has a real knack for capturing contemporary events in his writing. The Right Stuff was definitely on the top of the list of space race novels. It would have been nice to hear more about any upcoming work.

Interesting interview, but I think Mr. Wolfe is a bit out of touch with immigrant cities. Dubai is composed of about 80% first generation immigrants for example. Toronto also has a higher foreign born population by percentage.

Mr. Wolfe would be wise to check out -- in addition to Miami -- Toronto or Vancouver, Canada, both of which have majority populations of visible minorities, and in which more than half of the populations were not born in Canada.

Very nice conversation, I had heard of Tom Wolfe before, but I have never had the chance to hear him speak about his books. This was a great introduction to me of who Mr. Wolfe is as a man. I will look for his famous books and see if I can learn about him thru his words and get the soul of the man that wrote them.

It is gratifying to see Tom Wolfe looking so well and still with us. Tom came to the University of Colorado(Boulder)in 1968 on his Kool-Aid Acid Test tour and turned a room full of students into evangelists of New Journalism overnight. As a hayseed in J-school, it changed my life and I went on to have a minor but not uneventful career as a journalist. Tom Wolfe became the beacon to a collection of us who yearned for something unyielding and undefinable. Tom Wolfe provided a direction for that expression in the decades to come. I even bought a cream colored tie and suit to go with my degree. Thank you, sincerely.

Charlie's amazing ability to recall information and people's names absolutely astounds me.
