- Description
Jennifer 8. Lee , 31, is a New York Times reporter, blogger and author best known for her writing about technology, immigrants and contemporary culture. Lee's first book, The Fortune Cookie Chronicles -- which quickly climbed to the 26th slot on the Times best-seller list after its release in March -- documents her quest to understand the paradox of a food and an immigrant experience that is at once Chinese yet more all-American than apple pie. Lee graduated with a BA from Harvard in 1999.

Oh. Clicking the "Buy" button and "buying" from Google has the same effect of enlarging the video. That is so confusing. It's like clicking Start to Shut Down a computer...

Thanks for the quick reply Carol.
To Barbara, buying video from this site would be a rip off. Click the "Share" button and cut and past the link that starts with http://video.google.com... to get a TV-like experience.
I would cut and past "http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?docId=2798320214497821234" into my browser address field for the Jennifer 8. Lee video.
Charlie rose should implement a "Full Screen" button like every other website, so users do not feel pressured to buy.

To Confused, Yes, "Charlie's Tomorrow" is only for this website. I believe I must correct myself as to "Charlie's Green Room". A number of guests that have been at the round table are asked to do a short segment for the website.
Confused 06/23/2008 01:58 AM Report
So this segment was produced purely for the Website?
Jennifer 8. Lee never appeared with Charlie Rose, and she never sat at the round oak table?

Hi Barbara, The above program is for the internet only. Two Segments titled "Charlie Rose Tomorrow" and "Charlie's Green Room" are very short interviews and I believe they are just for this website. It is possible that y9ou might be able to purchase if you want a copy.

I missed Jennifer 8. Lee's appearance. Neither PBS station in D.C. showed it last evening. I'm not clear why my only option is buying the show given that other programming overrode it. (Channel 26 showed a star-studded Memorial Day concert.) When do you plan to air the Jennifer 8. Lee show again? This is a strange one. First, that there was a Sunday show was unusual and second that now we have to buy shows we miss is vexing, to say the least.
