It would be one thing if Israeli governments had insisted on delaying a Palestinian state until certain security concerns had been dealt with. But no government serious about a two-state solution to the conflict would have pursued, without letup, the theft and fragmentation of Palestinian lands, which even a child understands makes Palestinian statehood impossible."

    4. Michael J Tang  05/07/2008 02:19 AM Report

Charlie, thank you for inviting an extraordinary man to your show. President Jimmy Carter has been and continues to be a breath of fresh air and renewed hopes for America and the world. He will be remembered in history for his humanity. Those who can think and be objective know that the American foreign policy is bias to the Palestinian people and favor Israel. Where do you think Israel gets all the advance weapons, fighter jets, tanks, helicopters, etc., including nuclear bombs? The disadvantages of the Palestanian people are overwhelming, that's why there are so much hatred and resentment towards the U.S and Israel. America needs to be fair and act accordingly if it wants to be respected and look up to. In order to have peace in the middle east, Israel needs to stop encroaching into the Palestanian land and give back what's righfully theirs. At the same time, cease fire on both sides. A convoy from the Carter Center, NOT the current administration or any other groups, should be the liason between the Palestanian and Israel to conduct agreements between the two states. This has to be done while President Jimmy Carter is still around and able, because I don't see or trust anyone else to do this with a clear purpose, but for peace. It is not hard, but we must be willing. Underneath the skin, we are all the same, with the same yearning for love, happiness and peace. You all are my brothers and sisters, our hearts beat the same, the blood in our vein is red, we breathe the same air and drink the same water, why do we learn to hate each other. Every life is precious and equally important, one tragedy is too many. A mother's mourning of her child's tragic death echoes in eternity. To truly see, close your eyes and look.

    5. Pat Croft  05/06/2008 02:04 PM Report

Wow Charlie what a great interview! It is incredible to see diplomacy in action. The US

Government forced the Palestinian election but did not have a clue that Hamas would win. So in hind sight the US Government in effect nullifies the election. President Carter is the most level headed politician since Thomas Jefferson and a true American hero. The first meeting with Hamas improved the parameters for Peace in the Middle East.

    6. Flamingo   05/05/2008 01:50 AM Report

Mr. Rose, this was an excellent intrusive interview of a confused past leader. I have tremendous respect to Former Pres. Jimmy Carter, I have always regarded him of highly for the work he does around the world. He has been involved in promoting Democracy in many corners of the world and he should be acknowledged for his tremendous services to the world, his good will has reached all around the world, and as a result of his dedications many millions are enjoying peace and serenity. ==>However, his recent visit with a known cold blood murdering organization known as HAMAS is an ill advised to say the least and is sending a mixed signals to these humanly intelligent walking cruel animals that strap bombs on themselves to harm as many innocent taxpaying civilians as possible. That is something no one can easily forgive, his mistaken understanding of the issue in that region of the world. Israel is a country that exists NOT because of some "self righteous" senior citizen made it possible, Israel's existence come about after many people gave their lives to insure their existence. Arabs have attempted to invade Israel multiple times, this is a fact everyone knows. Had they had succeeded at one of those unprovoked invasions people like Pres. Carter may not be here sitting to criticise Israel. The Arabs would have organized another holocaust proportion mass murder spree not seen since the times of Hitler. Unlike the previous Holocaust this one would have been a knife and sword Holocaust where every person would have their throats slit to death. If the world fails to see there may be a nuclear Holocaust in the Middle East should the Iranians succeed with their ambition of acquiring the weapon. Thanks to the bravery of many young and old, men and women, today Israel is there as a Democratic nation flying the star of David flag after surviving each and every war instigated by the Arabs. ==>The most absurd statemets of all the interview are contained between the minutes of 21:00 to 25:00, because everything he says within those minutes are absolutely untrue! Israel's stand has always been stop raining the missiles on civilian Israeli citizens, so Israel can stop surgical operations. As far as the number of people that die during surgical operations can only be explained in the form of collateral damge or hidden explosives getting hit with the targeted militant, which causes civilians to be harmed. If the militants were to stay away from civilian areas then the number of deaths would be reduced drastically to the inteded target per operation, but the militants who are raining the missiles are doing it behind residential houses purposely to cause the deaths of many civilians to activate international outrage and it works everytime. Hamas never spoken with one voice, while one group says one thing the hard liners do the opposit. I think Former Pres. Carter should have checked with Israel of his intentions to visit with Hamas.

4/28/08's Charlie Rose show with guests President Jimmy Carter and Jan Egelund was powerful, riveting, and absolutely engaging. President Carter's intelligence, experience, and willingness to act with an open mind and an open heart on working to achieve peace in the Middle East is exactly what is needed in our leadership today. Always "put yourself in the shoes of the other side/the adversary to see if you would like your treatment of others/other-nations. For example see if you would appreciate the manipulative playings (for cynical and illegitimate political gains) with the ancient name (thousands of years old) for a very famous Gulf; the Persian Gulf. Listen to this truthful logic (even from a horrible kicked-out dictator:

People change. perceptions Change. Things that were written on Rossetta Stone change. Hamas might have committed acts of violence on innocent people of Israel. They might have said that they t that doesn't mean that Hamas couldn't ever be better. If they are publicly stating that they want to have a peace agreement with Israel, then why not try one more time. If I need to talk 100 times to save millions of lives, then what's wrong with discussing with any organization when especially there is large section of population who does believe that organization. I am glad Carter made an attempt to talk Hamas and I wish current administration could also make attempts to discuss with Hamas, even if they are claimed to be terrorists. World would be better place if we can resolve everything diplomatically and keep the military action as the last resort even if that means that we need to tolerate people with tendencies of Hitler, but with a leash.

Lot of you said Carter was naive. So what! Naive is after all not bad a thing. But what's bad is the attitude of " My way or the Highway!". Look at every civilization that flourished and then later destroyed when they try to claim hegemony on everyone. The only way , if at all there is any is to negotiate, talk, even kiss someone's ass, if that could save at least one life. No one can bring back the life that's gone, no one can promise to take the humanity to paradise, but what we can do is at least try to save the world from going to hell.

    14. Al  04/30/2008 10:45 PM Report

After the 1967 arab-Israel war, Israel offered to return the occupied land. This offer was rejected by the 1967 Arab summit that resolved that there would be "...no peace, no recognition and no negotiation." with Israel. Why was this verifiable fact not brought up in the Charlie Rose - Carter interview. There could have been peace, but the Arab public stared policy has shifted from throwing the Jews into the sea to getting rid of settlements!!! But the truth is, they still want to throw the Jews into the sea. Hamas is truthful in this respect.

Just because Carter was President [a disaster for the country\ does not make him a truth sayer. He said thousands of new settlements are being built - what's his source - the truth tellers in Hamas. By the way, Woodward in one of his books pointed out Carter was a liar when in office. And he lied years ago when he stated he would debate anyone regarding his book, and then refused to debate Dershowitz. How could anyone take a liar's comments seriously?

    15. TABS  04/30/2008 08:27 PM Report

My reference to ex president Jimmy Carter as being "Citizen Carter." some might think is from the recent media reference to him being a "private citizen" who has single handly undertaken a diplomatic mission to Palestine to talk to Ha mas. My reference has nothing to do with that media reference. It is based upon the egalitarian salutation that the French gave each other during the French Revolution. A time of virtual chaos where anarchy prevailed and governmental power and rule of law was at a nadir. A time when anybody could be a government onto themselves. Citizen Carters hubris is a stab at the established order of things, he knows better than the government he served at one time by divine inspiration. That is the tension in the man that thinks that he can surmount the accomplishments of all those who preceded him. Is that ego, altruism or both? Mr Rose never took Citizen Carter to task on that issue. Citizen Carter sidtracked the issue by filling his time explaining the details of his conversations with the parties involved as his predisposition is to micromanage affairs and fill the air with small details. That in a sense was his failure as a President.

Randy exemplifies Israeli overkill with excessive posting. Like all zionists that have a god-given right to kill (40:1) they turn their holocaust into a hollow cost.

    17. A Unitarian Universalist  04/30/2008 07:47 PM Report

Israeili and radical Christian interest groups within the US so completely control the dialog on the Palestinian issue, that we Americans really don't dictate our foreign policy on this issue. Its a case of the tail wagging the dog. Unfortunately, no one, unless he or she is a monk, can survive the repercussions challenging these interest groups. Carter risks his reputation and accumulated good will in sticking his neck out to propose equitable treatment for the Palestinians.

The only hope is that American Jews themselves will start to moderate the tone of the discussion. I recognize how hard this will be. They will be called traitors by some hardliners within their community. However, change in the US policies cannot be achieved unless there are more reasonable voices like Carter within the American Jewry. An ironic thing about the situation is there is actually more debate in Israel than in American on the right course of action. When will this debate start here in the US as well? God Bless All Peoples of this World!

    18. Neal Madnick  04/30/2008 07:11 PM Report

As an American Jew who oftne reads the Israeli press, and is horrified by the stifling censorship in the U.S. print and broadcast media of a balanced discussion of the issues regarding Palestine, I felt Carter was brilliant!!!! And refreshing!

Neoconservatives at Likud, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, Heritage Foundation, and American Enterprise Institute loathe peace.

Neoconservatives represent neither Israel nor Judaism, only their own perverted, selfish, greed-laden view of the world.

Expect Neoconservatives to go after Jimmy Carter and the members of his family; such extremist actions define the Neoconservative movement.

    23. Joe  04/30/2008 02:05 PM Report

Once again charlie you are well intentioned but your interview lacks the difficult questions for carter to explain. for him to claim that israel has not shown any will for peace is a stark revelation of his views! israel left gaza and yet they are faced with the daily barrage of rockets from gaza?!?! every time israel gives they get nothing back but an emboldened enemy that wants more. hamas has never given any inkling that they will ever allow israel any fate other than destruction. why can you not get that across???

    24. Rebeca Gonzalez  04/30/2008 01:44 PM Report

As a regular reader of the Jerusalem Post, I can give you first hand analysis of the Paper, Jerusalem Post is known within Israel, and also in the media world as a right wing news paper. It is analogous to the Washington Times, New York Post and New York Sun and Fox news all have been discredited and known to be the sham news organizations that they are! So I find it peculiar that you would recommend a spokesman from that very organization to speak on behalf of Israel policies, this would be nothing but a misrepresentation on behalf of the views of most Israelis (who happen to be for negotiations with Hamas) and continue the subterfuge! I believe that when you made this statement you believed Americans ignorant of this Paper and Israeliâ??s internal debates!

    25. Rachel  04/30/2008 07:24 AM Report

Randy, what are you trying to prove, as Ariana says right is wrong and you're one of the right who's wrong. We know that the government in Israel is paranoid, they see terrorists everywhere but what they're doing is defensive and so are the Palestinians, they're trying to defend their livelihood, and you're going to tell me that what you are doing is right? Mr Carter is a real good American not you Mr. Randy.

    26. Shalom Freedman  04/30/2008 03:27 AM Report

As a follow- up to my previous comment I would simply like to suggest that Charlie Rose invite as guest on his show, the Managing Editor of the 'Jerusalem Post' Caroline Glick. I believe he should do this in order to get a perspective of the Israeli situation which has never really been given much of a hearing in his show- and which is that of a large share of Israelis. Glick is American- born and articulate. She knows the area , inside out, and as a journalist was embedded with American troops in Iraq at the beginning of the Second Iraq war. All the false assumptions, the untruths which pervade the Carter interview will be cast into a different perspective by her. She has a new book a collection of her columns which she might want to promote. But that is secondary. I am not by the way a friend, a relative, and have never spoken with her in my life. She is simply the best on this situation. I strongly recommend that Charlie Rose give her and a great share of Israelis , a real hearing.

    28. Shalom Freedman  04/30/2008 01:38 AM Report

It is impossible not to have great liking and respect for Charlie Rose. His shows have given me so so much, in knowledge, learning, entertainment. I know his characteristic method is to be considerate of his guests, compliment them and in general give them the audience and the sense that they are wonderful people doing good work.

But a Journalist has as Rose knows other responsibilites. He has to aim at the Truth and press to find it. He should be more than superficially informed but should insofar as possible know the subject in depth. Now if the subject is one of the abstruse scientific or medical ones , or just any subject requiring great specialist knowledge it is impossible to expect someone, even someone so broadly knowledgeable as Charlie Rose, to know the subject in depth. But here we are talking about the Arab- Israeli conflict something which Rose has done tens of interviews on. We are talking about relations to 'Hamas' a key player now in the whole Israeli- Palestinian situation. To take with such open- eyed acceptance Carter's obvious 'stretchers' and 'escapes from the truth' are just too much. There are thousand of both statements and deeds of Hamas involving violent action against Israelis and Jews. This organization has Murder and Jihad written in its Charter and on its flag. To accept Carter's sugar- pill and peanut- butter description of 'Hamas' as aiming at Peace is just ridiculous. Carter should have been questioned more vigorously about his taking huge sums of money from Saudi Arabia, about his being a former President who is a paid lobbyist. He should have been questioned more vigorously about his own role in bringing about the coming into being of the Islamic Revolutionary Regime in Iran. He should too been asked about his attempt to cover up Palestinian terror, Palestinian racist hate- propaganda, the true face of the Palestinian polity and media.

I might add I think it would be just slightly fair for Charlie Rose to have on his show an articulate representative of democratic Israel who is not on the Left of the Israeli political spectrum.

    29. Dr. Murray M. Morgan  04/30/2008 01:21 AM Report

Charlie, please convey this message of mine to President Carter. His compassion (during listening to your conversation with him) caused tears drop down my cheek. I would like to say that I am proud of him and I wish I could meet with this with-heart-and-always-in-the-heart-of-the-conscienable-people-of-the-wrld President; to share with him some points about Iran, as well as telling him of the painful retaliatory experience of mine; that I never thought I would endure for scientific integrity and opposition to publication of made-up/fabricated data for never-ever performed sets of experiments at the UCDâ??s Department of Surgery. I was retaliated against severely. I need to tell him about the extreme unimaginable humiliation, the impoverishment, my loss of wife, and the indifference of the University to the experienced atrocities and black-listing by the University of California. I wish I could have the honor to meet with this good, kind President.

Charlie, this interview was one of the descent pieces of journalism by you that are not that frequent. I congratulate you for this interview. But, unfortunately, our PBS station, here in Sacramento, showed it at 1:00 AM. It looks like that the manager of this PBS station is against the fair and just views of President Carter.

Each time there is a program that opens the eyes of people to the truth i.e. the truth about peaceful nature of Iranâ??s nuclear program for example), it gets broadcasted late in the night so that people do not see it.

On the contrary, this PBS station in Sacramento, broadcasts over and over again the distorted junk pieces of politically manipulating programs; such as this piece during which you hear several times the distorted name for the Persian Gulf, the â??Arabianâ?? Gulf, as if they are paid handsomely (by the various corrupt sheikhs of the region) to broadcast it.

Thanks, Charlie, for allowing Jimmy Carter to explain America's highly biased role in siding with Israeli actions and punishing Palestinians, despite what any official road map says.

I still find him pro-Israeli in saying terrorism is unforgivable, but not saying the same about the atrocities of the occupation and killings and bombings that fall under the rubric of "civilized" state behavior.

It is a sign of how far right wing the American mainstream media and American political culture are that even this pro-Israeli man's willingness to humanize the Palestinian cause to some small degree is seen as extremism. At least it's progress...

Earth to Planet Carter: Israel has been trying to give back this land for 40 years! All Hamas has to do is accept that Israel is a legitimate country. That's it. Incidentally, you failed to mention that Israel gave back every inch of the Gaza Strip. Oh, and you also failed to mention that Hamas responded to this withdrawal with--stop me if you've heard this before--more bombs.

What you're calling a "cease fire" is a false bill of goods. While you've had your head buried in the desert sand, the Hamas leadership has said there will be no *permanent* cease fire as long as Israel continues to exist. Even the Egyptian government says that Hamas is its own worst enemy.

Moral equivalency? These thugs launch their missles from congested residential Gaza neighborhoods on purpose--they're practically begging Israel to bomb everyday citizens. How about blaming these Hamas cowards for setting up their own people as targets? Hamas launches SEVEN YEARS of bombs hoping to hit anyone it can. Israel responds with THREE DAYS of precision-guided bombs aimed at the very people who launched them. Has Israel responded disproportionately? You bet it has. Seven years of bombs would have been proportionate.

Jimmy Carter is unbelievably naive, but he's not stupid. If Canada spent SEVEN YEARS dropping bombs on Michigan, vowing to stop only when the United States government is dissolved, I don't think Mr. Carter would tell his fellow Americans that we deserve to die.

I say this as a liberal, a longtime Carter supporter, and an American citizen who cares deeply about human rights: Wake up and smell the schwarma! G-d forbid your naive, misinformed actions result in eight more years of Republican rule.

      Am Yisrael chai!

Israeli-Palestinian stalemate-decade after decade-and its endangerment of world peace is obvious to any one. Mr. Carter should be admired for his bold and courageous efforts to seek some new opportunity that can help in resolving the conflict: He has the benefit of knowing all sides. He has spoken(evenhandedly)where even the President, leave aside the Congress and the Senate, dare not say anything, ask Mearsheimer and Walt. Mr. Schultz contradicted himself by writing and promoting his book while, according to his own assertion, he shouldn't be saying anything different regarding any extant policy matters, because he was previously associated with them in an official capacity.

Jimmy Carter is a disgrace and an embarrassment to the United States. Since when is it acceptable to engage in negotiations with thugs whose primary objective is to destroy a nation (Israel)? These women-hating, Jewish-hating, Democracy-hating terrorists are ignorant ideologues. In choosing to give them audience, which merely emboldens them, Jimmy Carter showed very poor judgment. And to all you people who think Israel should give back land to the Palestinians, I want to see you Americans step up and give up your property to American Indians. After all, we Americans stole ALL this land from the American Indians, and we have opted to keep it.

Palestinians and a majority of the Israelis want a peaceful resolution to the occupation. However, it seems like the US is the main stumbling block. The current US leadership has not been an honest broker in this issue and has hampered progress. The US administration has enabled the Israeli leadership to take a hardline in its occupation of the Palestinians. Listening to Carter, one can't help but realize that diaglog with Hamas is critical. More importantly, if we are to have lasting peace, a viable Palestinian state with rights of return for Palestinians and return of terrority occupied since 1967 is necessary. There are hardline Israelis and Americans who will oppose these concessions. However, Carter has shown great courage; its time for the American public to do the same.

    38. TABS  04/29/2008 06:59 PM Report

The cold hard truth of the matter is that the United States interest does not require that the Palestinian, Israeli conflict be resolved. Merely that it be contained. The strategic issue seems to have been long resolved, that being a military conflict between nation states that could jeopardize the stability of the region leading to a larger world wide conflict. The United States even enjoys an advantage in the conflict continuing. It distracts the involved parties from seeing what the United States is trying to accomplish. The United States remains the arbiter of the dispute which requires that both parties curry favor with the United States and are disposed to granting requests of them that are in the United States interest.

Shalom to you and to the US Israeli lobby. Nice try.

This whole discussion has been side tracked to the blame game between the Israelies and Palesteinians. As long as neither side will stop and take a good look at their own culpability and not just the other partys, this insanity will continue ad infinitum. The real question posed by Citizen Carters appearence on Mr Roses interview program is the legitimacy of Citzens Carters involvment in the process. What motivation, what authority does Citizen Carter have to act as he does? What does Citizen Carter bring to the table that no one else has? Is Citizen Carter being used by Hanmas to give themselves credibility? Is Hamas wanting a peace or is bent of the utter destruction of Israel? Are the Israelies oblivious to how their neighbors view them let alone the world? Has Israel become the very thing that they despise in their hard line concept of defense and expansion? Does Israel think that ANY criticism of their state is an attempt to murder them? Those are questions that no ones answer, except for the participants in the conflict matters.

Carter's Nobel Prize is well-deserved. It is rare in American public life that we can find somebody this informed about world issues and have the courage and persistence, against the odds of hatemongering campaigns to destroy him, to seek a just solution. Carter will end up on the right side of history. Keep making America proud!

Mr Carter should stick solely to Habitat to Humanity. He should stay far away from foreign policy issues. His inept administration left us with the Mullahs running Iran, a terror base against the US, hostages being held for over a year, and mortgage interest rates of 18 and 19% in the late 70s. He always insists upon reminding everyone that he was responsible for bringing Sadat and Begin together. He was a minor player. It was Sadat who took the extraordinary step to meet with the Israelis. Without Sadat making the first move there would have been no agreement. Carter was a minor player in that agreement. Finally, Mr Carter drew a moral equivalency with the fact that innocent Palestinians as well as Israelis are being "terrorized" and that the number of Palestinians killed outnumbers Israelis killed. Hamas intentionally attacks Israeli non-combatants(civilians) in order to kill and maim as many as possible. The Israelis counter with what can be described as pin point attacks on the rocket launching sites(to minimize civilian collateral damage). Mr Rose should have asked Mr Carter why his Hamas friends place those Kassem launchers intentionally in civilian areas where innocent Palestinians are being used a human shields. However, it appears that Mr. Rose was more interested in ingratiating himself with Mr. Carter than asking the really tough questions. Shame on Mr. Rose.

Mr. Carter remains the most dignified of our living Presidents of the United States of America. The continuity of his life shines in his humanitarian and peace work. His actions, respect for difference, and need for sincere reconciliation speaks for itself. His harshest critics are like incomprehensible braying asses overburdened by the weight of their arguments.

Randy, Randy, Randy...the same old tricks. Smear the truth sayer. Change the subject, smear this, muddy that. Call him anti-semetic when someone is talking about Israel's terrorist behavior. Excuse Israel as acts in self defense. It is not about people who hate jewish people (as is the usual first line of attack and smear)when they are critical of Israel...it is about right and wrong. That is all it is.

Stay on the real subject here Randy, you are pro-Israel no matter what they do to civilians and children and no matter how much land they take away from the Palestinian people, you and others will always go back to the same old talking points.

It is about injustice dummy. It is about treating another race as inferior and counting the value of life as different from whatever race you hold superior.

The irony of Nazi occupied Poland and the inexcusable and hateful treatment that the jewish citizen were subjected to by the Germans, is not lost on me. Walls, land theft, badges, checkpoints, killings disproportionate to the killing of a 1 german soldier, 1 jew sacrificing himself heroically in taking as many occupiers as possible by blowing himself up with a grenade. Israel has the right to exist and so do the Palestinians with a state, both sides with pride, respect for all human life and dignity. As President Carter has proven what we need for peace is an even handed approach to the facts and a mutual respect of the suffering both sides have incurred.

    46. Shalom Freedman  04/29/2008 05:21 PM Report

      1) President Carter is no longer President of the United States. As a former President he has the responsibility of not undermining the policy of the present Administration. Former Secy. of State George Schultz was therefore outraged at what Carter has done.

      2) All of Carter's diplomacy in regard to 'Hamas' is based on a fundamental untruth. 'Hamas' has not renounced and will never renounce its intention to destroy Israel. Anyone who has read its Charter knows that. The Carter effort is a continuation of his cover up and excusing of Palestinian terror. Whether the reason for this is his own noble love of peace- making or the generosity of the Saudi Government is another question.

    47. rust  04/29/2008 05:07 PM Report

If a father is walking his child to school in the West Bank or Gaza and is killed along with a bunch of Palestinian civilians, they are referred to as militants killed. Is every Palestinian adult automatically treated in the US press as a militant? Seems so. Israel steals lands and homes of the people with historical deeds for the properties now called Israel. A country without borders and a population under control of a government it did not elect.

I am of Irish decent; should my family have claim to our old home in Ireland 1000 years from now? And should we take the right to forcibly remove a family from their home which has been their home for generations upon generations?

The number of deaths caused by the Kassem "rockets" is in the single digits. These "rocket" acts I do consider terrorist acts as they are directed at civilians and need to be condemned. They are a modest threat with few killed. Both sides seek reprisals when the other kills innocents.

The number of civilian deaths caused by Israel is outrages and as President Carter points out 40 to 1 among all killed and 8 to 1 among kids.

Palestine cannot hide behind a "military action" to kill civilians, it does not have a military or a sophisticated armed services branch. When Israel kills without regard for women and children which it has done throughout its history and even more so in the past few years, with its more deadly weapon systems it is terrorism let there be no mistake about it.

Palestinians are wrong when they engage in acts of terror, but Israel is 40 times the terrorist state than the territories. Mr. Carter is a man of truth, I wish my fellow citizens commanded the real facts of who kills who in the mideast; for if the american population understood the real facts on the ground they would be outraged at our blind support of Israel's reckless diregard for for life and force our government to act to deliver a just and fair piece for both sides.

Israel is not a democracy, it is racist by definition. We are not the United Christian States of America, we are a country that welcomes all faiths.

The Palestinians are this generations Native Americans. As a nation, I do not think we can be proud of our treatment of Native Americans. Nor can we nor any other nation with a sense of humanity be proud of what Israel has come to stand for. Shame on the people of Israel for what they do. President Carter is noble in his efforts to bring about peace and to deliver an even handed approach to education and the true fact of the conflict.

    50. axure  04/29/2008 03:40 PM Report

      Randy,

      1) When there is an order of magnitude more Palestinian deaths than Israelis, then "pin point" doesn't mean anything. Your judgement is totally flawed because you don't base it on facts but on (Israeli & US) rhetoric. Facts are that if some of the Palestinians can be called terrorists, then the Israeli government should be called a criminal regime with a terrible track record of genocide. And held responsible.

      2) I'm not of a fan of Iran's government but it's sure as hell that it's not much worse - if at all - than the previous puppet installed by U.S. govt.

Also, your repetitive posting is a very desperate desire of an idiot to be heard - despite the fact that you have nothing interesting to tell.
