I enjoyed your comments about Shannon Terry from several years (months?) ago. It is interesting that there is never any mention of where Shannon Terry came from. If he is a scumbag, he came by it honestly.

Great interview, but what else could one expect from Charlie Rose. Have always enjoyed his interviews especially when he was on Public Television. I'm embarassed to say since cable I've not tuned in to PBS as much as I should.

What happened to journalistic integrity?

Michael Arrington has been leveraging his TechCrunch success in a very productive manner for him. He promotes (and apparently relies) (in my opinion) knowing all of the key people, and continually expanding that. He provides great value for anyone who can be of service.

Thank you Charlie, you absolutely make my evenings. I watch your show while on the Net and immediately look up the references your guests talk about. You have exposed me to enriching and intersting subjects which I often wonder about but don't know where to begin to access. Your info is so new and exciting and inciteful. I often feel at one with your brain as you answer so many of my questions, even before I ask. This show and others on new technology, science, medicine and world politics are the absolute best. Thanks again. Would love to see Arrington and Anderson often.

That was a great interview. It is very refreshing to hear two people talk about technology and internet in terms which appeal to the mass. Way to plug Net Neutrality Michael!

I would love to know how many people watched this since MA posted it on FB, my guess is at his 3000 friends/readers :)

Dear Mr. Rose:

Merci beaucoup encore une fois!...(As always!)for your great, insightful and interesting programs.

I was watching your interviews with Mr. Anderson and Mr. Arrington and I was saying to myself: "As long as America keeps churning new startups, we'll be OK and so will the world".

Because these startups are very beneficial to our society (ies): They innovate, disturb, introduce new paradigms and so we have no other choice but to change and adapt. Case in point: The computer, the internet,DNA,nanotech, etc.

Yes, it's a bit disturbing when we see big corporate organizations invest and outsource abroad. I,myself, have been a bit preoccupied.

Come to think of it, we should let those big corporate behemoths loose like doves and not be too concerned about them. After all, they are big and powerful enough to survive! BUT we should make sure that at home, the culture of education, innovation, science and research (basic and applied) is alive and kicking!

The United States of America must always be relentless in its quest for new fronteers.

Allow me to quote Jacques Ellul, famous French philosopher and thinker of the past century who made a very eloquent statement in his famous work, Le Système technicien:

"Contrairement, à la théorie générale des systèmes, la technique (technology) possède sa propre boucle de rétroaction qui fait en sorte qu'elle se perpétue d'elle-même."

Great interview! Most "Techies" bore the heck out of me in interviews, speaking way over the lay person's head, which is not the case with Mr. Arrington. My only request was that Charlie would have spent more time exploring Mr. Arrington's thoughts on the future of technology and the internet. Again, thanks for a great interview, TechCrunch just earned a sacred place on my iphone homescreen next to all my other beloved news/information sources.

Charlie another excellent choice. Mike Arrington is one of the best connected folks in Silicon Valley. However I would liked to have heard more about the impacts on the coming Artificial Intelligence revolution. Mike alluded to this in his observations about Virtual Reality as a replacement for ... real reality.

Have you ever had Markram of IBM's Blue Brain project on the show? It's time for that.
