Bravo Barbara!! Thoroughly enjoyable review and spot on observations. Great insights delivered with her usual wit, charm and clever turn of a phrase. Thank you!!

What a great combination of clever observations and sharp marketing insights! Usually these kind of segments are either/or. Clearly this Barbara Lippert knows her stuff without being stuffy.

What is Lippert's backgound to criticize ads?
Stephen 02/06/2008 08:50 PM Report
The Coca Cola commercial has my vote. Creative, interesting, and a positive message.
Jerry 02/06/2008 05:04 PM Report
Coca-Cola commercial was by far the best commercial. Their Marketing Chief (who is it??) should be highly commended for their brillance in getting it right this year.

Barbara Lippert was fantastic on this and all of her other appearances surrounding Super Bowl. Her insightful, informed comments taught viewers something, brought a bigger picture/positive perspective, celebrated the creativity of our industry and elevated the Super Bowl as a "buy" in an increasingly bearish environment.

actually, this is a subject rarely covered on Charlie Rose, and while she was very enthusiastic about the ads, she was also quite funny and articulate. I enjoed it.

Hello? This segment said nothing to the Charlie Rose audience. Zero insight and palpably uncritical. Lose the knee pads.
