Vijay V. Vaitheeswaran is an MIT trained engineer who has spent the past ten years covering environmental and energy issues for The Economist Magazine. His first book, Power for the People, How the Coming Energy Revolution will Change our Lives, and maybe even Save the Planet was published in 2005. He has just co-authored his second book, ZOOM: The Global Race to Fuel the Car of the Future, with Iain Carson.

      Vijay is clearly one of the clearest visionaries in this field. Very enjoyable and educational listening to Vijay's video. We need more like him, not just to talk but to execute a plan to replace oil.

      Lets Vote,a special vote,say in June 08,thats plenty of time to prepare.We vote on the best idea,the "winner" and we go with that.Then a country wide full scale mass production building plan goes into action immediately.where every citizen contributes,so by Jan 09 there is no more middle east.Thats the America that I want to live in.
