John McAuliff, this interview is from 2007 and not the one that was broadcast 4-25-2008. Look below the picture at the right corner and it gives the date.

I heard the interview on the air and found particularly interesting the dialog about US policy toward Cuba. Yet it is missing from the on line version? Do you normally edit out sections? Why this section?

      Dear Ones,

I am writing/posting these to inform the lazy ones and prejudiced/ignorants among us. Because such people are vulnerable to devious political manipulations because of their ignorance that they cherish it so much. Selfishness has caused demise of glorious civilizations. Nowadays, we can not say, â??Oh well after me nothing is importantâ??/â??I donâ??t care what happens to future generations (we are talking about our childrenâ??s/grand-childâ??s future)â?? because our planet is endangered. So we can not behave like the irresponsible past demised-civilizationsâ?? behavior.

Do you know that the attack on American embassy in Tehran and hostage-taking was an American-made coocked-up plan to use it as an excuse to create obstacle to that beautiful revolution of Persians/Iranians (against their brutal puppet-dictator, the Shah [Sha-han-shah â?? The King of the Kings\)?

It was devised by Kissinger, Ruckfeller, Ashraf Pahlavi (Shahâ??s notorious sister), and one other person within the post-revolutionary regime (a spy) - whose identity is not known yet.

We blocked Iranianâ??s assets abroad, and by cooperation of naives/traitors removed milliard dollars amounts from their frozen assets (The Algeria Dâ??Accord) that were given, as â??compensationâ?? to the â??Hostagesâ?? and the Banks. In my view we have to return whatever we have stolen from them back to Iranian Treasury.

To have caused more trouble for the post-revolutionary government of the REALLY-elected President, President Abolhassan Banisadr, we created Iran/Iraq war that lasted eight years and one-million defending Iranian were killed (a generation of Heroes). We have to compensate Iran and offer them apology. Not, threaten them with bombing them.

Their only sin is that they raised against our tyrany/bully-ism/exploitation and have aspired independence and scientific advancement.

      Shame on us.

      Bribe-Addicted Legislatures

"If a baseball player slides into home plate and, right before the umpire rules if he is safe or out, the player says to the umpire - 'Here is $1,000.' What would we call that? We would call that a bribe. If a lawyer was arguing a case before a judge and said, 'Your honor before you decide on the guilt or innocence of my client, here is $1,000.' What would we call that? We would call that a bribe.

"But if an industry lobbyist walks into the office of a key legislator and hands her or him a check for $1,000, we call that a campaign contribution. We should call it a bribe." : Janice Fine - Dollars and Sense magazine

Israel-i Lobby Hijacking US Foreign Policy

With the active lobbying of opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu, many US public employee pension funds are moving to divest from companies that do business with Iran. And this week, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown announced that like his predecessor Tony Blair, he will not rule out the option of using military force to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

Obama's tough line on Iran was largely echoed in other letters from seven other candidates, including Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York and former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina, both Democrats. The Nonsense about Jihad

      @ Constantinopole

Do you know that God exist? Can you look at yourself in the mirror when you attempt to distort Islam?

Islam is a religion of peace. Jihad is advocated as a mean to defend oneself against aggression and to repel injustice and humiliation that has reached to an intolerable level.

I found the nonsense as a comment (by somebody with the User-Name of Constantinople) to the article titled Parasitic Imperialism (by Ismael Hossein-zadeh). Somebody knowledgeable should respond to the distorting attempt (distorting Islam and the Prophet) of this tail-wagging/Westâ??s-ass-kissing individual. Click the link (http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article17980.htm) and then click the "Comment" to find it among the other comments that are posted to the Hossein-zadehâ??s article.

Here is that Westâ??s-ass-kissing comment by "Constantinople" (read the Constantinopole's comment). I have heard that the "Hadis"ses that that Constantinople has cited in his comment (to draw conclusion from them)are the most controversial/ditorted/inaccurate(ask a conscienable Iranian moslem [not a West's-ass-kissing-pro-shah one\ sayings [Ahadis=racconts\)of the "Ahadis"ses that are, purportedly, attributed to the Prophet of Islam.

      Servant Bush

An Order to the President of the USA

      By: Dr. Murray M. Morgan

According to the Constitution of the USA, government should be servant of people to execute the will of people.

According to the self-rule right, the President of a government-of-people by-people for-people is supposed to be our servant to execute our will.

Accordingly, I, Murray M. Morgan, hereby, order President Bush to, immediately and without any second of delay:

      1. put stop to interference in the internal affairs of Iran (including their peaceful nuclear program),

      2. put stop to bullying/coercive/humiliating treatment of Iranians (which also includes their rough government that, is up to the people of Iran only to, in the absence of feeling of any sort of threat rise against and re-establish their self-rule in there)

      3. remove all of our [pirating\ naval forces from the Persian Gulf and vicinity (in the Indian Ocean)

      4. evacuate all our military/clandestine-military bases abroad (specially the ones located in the Middle East and Central Asian countries) and bring all the personnel therein home

      5. put stop to all his infringements on Citizens liberties (nowadays known to everybody) and put stop to indirect/coercive censorships.

      6. It is the equal-and-with-respect treatment of others that assures peace and constant flow of oil to Europe and our country. It also pours water on all the inflamed sentiments that as a result puts end to "terrorism" which is, sinfully, abused so much these days by corporative military industrial complex that Late President Eisenhower warned us against their undue and detrimental influence -- that has created a sort of Parasitic Imerialism. Therefore, it, also, hereby President Bush is ordered to put stop to Parasitic Imperialism that should be carried out with co-operation of the conscionable members of the Congress and Senate which, for sure, does NOT include the war-mongring Senator Joseph Lieberman.

The era of imperialism is over. It is era of co-existance in peace that would, only, be possible through with-respect and equal-regrding of others.

So is ordered in the presence of God on this July 23rd 2007 and so would be executed by the Servant Bush.

Does "Marg bar Amrica" really measns "Death to America"?

Please do not fall for propaganda of those who want to stoke resentment/division to conquer/harvest/exploit-other/steal others' resources by purposeful dishonest translations; such as the translation for "Marg Bar Aamrikaa"/"Marg Bar America" slogan.

The word "Marg" in Persian/Farsi has these three meanings:

      1. Marg = Death like the death time of the guy is arrived/He/she is going to die

      2. Death = stagnation like stagnation of stagnant/nonmoving water

      3. Marg = stoppage/stop

It is the third Please, do not fall for the trick of England. Please, avoid calling "Persian Gulf" "the Gulf". Use its true/proper internationally known name which is/has-been "Persian Gulf" for thousands of years the name for this body of water of the Earth. Please notice that, if you search the history, the name of the "the Gulf " is " Persian Gulf ". In fact, before Arabs fall into the manipulative trap of English colonialists, their respective countries used to produce maps with "Persian Gulf" as the name for the same body of water that, nowadays, call it with the ridiculous name of "the Gulf".

President Nasser of Egypt fell for the trick of "divide and conquer" of English colonialists. Taping on the Arab nationalistic pride,

I am an American but I believe on being just. because "Justice denied anywhere diminishes justice everywhere: Martin Luther King, Jr. : 1929-1968 "

That one sentence you asked for:

We need to stop teaching at schools and Universities that West culture is superior (read Les Grecs et les Barbares book series)because idiots like this disgusting one justify their atrocities by considering himself as being superior to the one he considers subhumans.

"that until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned; that until there is no longer any first-class and second-class citizens of any nation; that until the color of a man's skin is of no more significance than the color of his eyes; that until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all, without regard to race -- until that day, the dreams of lasting peace and world citizenship and the rule of international morality will remain but a fleeting illusion, to be pursued but never attained: Speech by H.I.M. HAILE SELASSIE I - California 28th February 1968 - ".

      ===

      Damé-Cos-Raazi:

Otherwise, as it almost is, we would be having (what Iranians call it) "Damé-Cos-Raazi":

which sounds almost like the word Democracy if you read it fast. Now let us see what "Dame-Cos-Raazy" means.

In order to get the concept in it, I have to break the word and tell what each component means in Persian/Farsi language:

The phrase "Dameé-Cos-Raazi" is comprized of three parts:

      1. Dameé = at he edge of/at he shore of

      2. Cos = Vulva -- female genitalia which if you are artist and know gross anatomy of it, it looks like a fissure/slot if you like a narrow lake which has shores

      3. Razzy means being happy and content

Now read all the three componets together, "Dameé-Cos-Raazi" (which sounds something similar to when you read the word "Democracy") is what we have here and in Europe which the inhabitants of which are , if you will, happy with sex. Imagine the "Dameé-Cos-Raazi" which means "being happy at the shore of the vulva.

We do NOT have a government of people (made by people and for people). Now laugh by saying we have "Dameé-Cos-Raazi"

Now draw a lake in the shape of vulva with two shores on each side with smiling people resting under paraplui/umberllas on each shore of the lake with some pimps around with having their hat high/obliquly. That's it. That's what our DEMOCRACY means. Cùest tout. Voilà

      Dog-Minded Mental Procesing

Being in Iranianâ??s shoes, would we tolerate such an insult?

If we were faced with such humiliating bullying attitude, we would, for certain, be telling the bully to shove both of them; that is both the carrot and the stick.

      It baffles me â?¦

      Hegel says:

â??â?? We the "civilized" Westerners have to treat ourselves equally with equal treatment of each other, and respect each others' rights and boundaries. But when it comes to the non-Europeans, we do not have to do the same because "whatever we do to them is better than the situation they are in."â??

You see, we FIRST dehumanize (by Press-titude/propagandist West media and Press) the ones we want to infringe on their rights to, when we do it, nobody dares to raise objection against our treatment of the victim.

The author of the â??Les Grecs ET les Barbaresâ??, by quoting from what the biased (in favor of Greeks/Romans) ancient Greek/Roman â??Philosopherâ??s/â??Historiansâ?? have written, demonstrates to the reader how they (compared with their own way of life) had been impressed by the more advanced culture and way of life of Iranians (see its evidence in the British Museum). He (the author) concludes that, if looked more profoundly and without prejudice, one would notice/find out about the enormous influence and life-improving impression/impact of Iraniansâ?? way of life (culture,) onto the Greeks/Romans culture.

One famous Western literary giant has wished as such:â?? World would have been in a better shape if Persians/Iranians had been the rulers of Rome because they always had been kind and just wherever they had gone".

Do you know that pants is an Iranian invention? It is Siaah-Jaamegaan of Khorasan (Abu Moslem e Khoraa-ssaani)who for the ease of riding on horse, invented pants that later on was adapted by Europeans as an alternative to skirts.

      Are We Civilized?

      By: Dr. Murray M. Morgan

      Dear Speaker Peloci,

Hallmark of being (civilized)a member of CIVILIZED WORLD is JUST/EQUAL/with-respect TREATMENT of others. I would like to see people who dare to talk to power, to hear/demand truth from their government, and see that the President , Congress, Judiciary system and Press/Media are FRANK (with us to ADVANCE our WILL on our behalf), and held accountable for their actions.

I am puzzled by nobody daring to tell President Bush that:

"1. Hallmark of being (civilized) a member of CIVILIZED WORLD is JUST/EQUAL/with-respect TREATMENT of others.

      2. You were picked (by George Shultz et al) to run for Presidency (to execute Wolfowitz et al hegemonic doctrine) because you were:

      A. in need of impressing your parents and siblings (who had, always, looked down at you), and

      B. that your urge/motive to punish Saddam was so strong that you were willing to do whatever you were/are asked to render realization to it. You were so, uncontrollably, OBSSESSED to RETALIATE against the audacity/daring of Saddam who: 1) had put a HUGE image of your father (for the purpose of humiliation) in the WALKWAY of one of the buildings in Baghdad (CBS showed it), and 2) had attempted to assassinate your father.

It was shown on TV screens (as then candidate) Bush, after having had seen the image of his father in the walkway, saying that, I quote it (from my memory):

"I would FINISH what my father did not do (failed to do) during the 1991 operation in Iraq ". I remind you of what Richard Clark said on TV. He said that President Bush in numerous occasions had told him to find something against Saddam even before the 9/11 manufactured incidence (like Pearl Harbor â?? that was used for our country to join the World War II).

Please tell President Bush: "YOU ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN AT ALL. YOU ARE SOMEBODY WITH HATE. A CHRISTIAN IS TAUGHT TO FORGIVE. "

      Tell him:

      1. To forget the BS of Aristotle (repeated by Hegel and Montesquieu) that WEST is CIVILIZED and Easterners, American Indians and Black are savages (Alexander The Great [Savage\ in a letter has writtenâ?¦ Aristotle this Kiss Ass friend of mine tells me these entire BS so that I [without any mercy\ commit every atrocity imaginable to control the places that I have conquered). Here is the advice of Aristotle repeated by Hegel and Montesquieu:â??â?¦that the soul started in the wild emotional East and it developed and became CIVILIZED during its path to West WHEREIN it found its HOME and therefore we the CIVILIZED West should treat ourselves as EQUALS with Respect and law but we CAN do whatever we want to do on the emotional-wild-Easterners because whatever we do is better than the situation they are in AND that Iran had shown the potential to become CICILIZED like us but they failed during the process because wherever they went they treated people with mercy and respect.

Tell President Bush that Iran is the MOST CIVILIZED nation in the world. It had given us the pioneers in Medicine (whose Books were our textbook until 18th century), basic science (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy), philosophy, arts & sciences, literature (who were the mentors of our famous literary giants such as Goethe, â?¦ one of whom had wished as such: â?? World would have been in a better shape if Persians/Iranians had been the rulers of Rome because they always had been kind and just wherever they had gone.

By the way shame on the producer of movie 300-Spartans; Xerecsus was had been a fair King. In the movie, portraying Iranians/Persians as savages, it says that Persians are COWARDS because they THROW ARROWS from afar over the 300 !!!Spartan fighters. This reminded me of us having had been truly the COWARDS of all times because we launch cruise missiles from thousands of miles and kill people using unmanned aero planes/fighters/helicopters and explode chemical weapons on the people we unfairly engage and impose war on them to accept what we ask them to do.

A fair mind (like that of mine) finds the ULTIMATE outrageousness in the immediately below-pasted quote from the mesmerized by power-Nicholas Burns, our under secretary of state for political affairs:

    5. Dr. Murray Morgan  04/26/2008 06:47 AM Report

Alas! John Edwards Dropped Out Because Heartless America is Near-Sighted; Veto Power for Iran!; and American Elections

Are we condemned to have another 4-year disastrous Republican Presidency?

      By: Dr. Murray M. Morgan

An Open Letter to Senators Obama, Clinton and My Fellow Americans

      Dear Senator Obama,

I do NOT want to see Presidency remains in the vicious/racist/cruel Republicans turf/hand for another four years. I wonder if those [who really are in charge, the corporative-military Industrial machinery, are the ones who, through our sold/bought-press/media , prevented Dennis Kucinich and John Edwards from being heard and become as known as you and Hillary; the eventuality of which would be another disastrous 4-yr Republican Presidency.

Please, believe and accept it from me that it is my dream to see you as the President of the United States. Because, the only event that might make people of other country to, once again, look at America with envy and admiration is that American people elect a "Black" as their President.

You can NOT imagine the teardrop that slid down my cheek when I heard about the uplifting news of your first win. Because of the WRONGS and trauma that is continuously/still being inflicted on African Americans, election of you as the President of the United States would not only has soothing/healing effect on African Americans, but also, it would bring back the LOST good reputation that our country, undeservedly, used to enjoy in the past; that was lost/vanished because of the BLATATANT/NAKED atrocities that, during King George's reign, people of Iraq, Iran [the most civilized nation on the face of earth -- read a little bit more about Iran to know why\ and other countries of Middle East have endured and suffered from.

Such event makes people of other countries to believe that America is, really, sorry for her vicious acts in the past; the attack on Iraq [with 1000000 casualty, ... \, the fabrication of American-Embassy-Hostages-taking-in Tehran [by Kissinger, Rockefeller, Ashraf Pahlavi, and one other person -- who thought of it to happen by "radical-students" as a "revolutionary"-like-act so that America uses the excuse to by freezing Iran's assets, imposing sanctions, and having Saddam to attack Iran cause PROBLEM for the revolution fail/not-become-successful in establishing Mardom-Saalari/Democracy in Iran AND that other countries in the region think twice to emulate it.

We, hypocritically, state/shout/pretend that we want to export/establish Democracy to the region yet we cause/make so many problems to prevent its establishment in Iran that its people[, with inspiration of independence and aim of removal of resources-plundering-tentacles/suckers/hooks from their land\, had dared to revolt and topple the brutal government that we had helped to be established in there by our CIA-guided Cout d'Etats of 1953 against Dr. Mohammad Mossaddegh; the DEMOCRATICALLY-elected Prime Minister of our puppet in there; naming "Shah" ["Shahanshah"-e-Iran/"the King of the Kings" Mohammadreza Pahlavi\.

In that event (joyous Obama as President), one thing that I want you to promise me is that you would be treating Iran and other countries as equals and that you would treat them with respect without attitudes and condescending-treatment. If you do that, then people of Iran themselves[assured of absence of any kind of outside danger/pressure\ without asking for outside-help, would rise against their oppressive/tyrannical government and, peacefully, convince/persuade the tyrants-in-charge to step down and return the power back to the people and to their real representatives; without having to, any longer, tolerate the insult of somebody at the top of power-pyramid whose title, "GUARDIANship of Faghih/Savant" over people/the-whole-nation" [an ultimate insult to people of Iran\, means the "Faghih"/"leader" represents, as [the "Faghih/Savant" or "leader" Khomeini and other self-declared savants without any shame dared to utter it\ to be the Guardian of all the members of society -- except for few self-declared-savants-- that is, every member of the people of Iran are minor/stupid/retards who need to have a Guardian to decide for them. When outside pressure/danger threatens the country, to diffuse it, people of Iran tend to gather, around whatever government they have in their country; even if it is a brutal/tyrannical/oppressive government such as the one that is ruling in Iran right now. You should NOT listen to what those blue-blooded Pro-Shah individuals who, no longer, are in charge -- not able to suck life out of people -- who live abroad [in LA, Van Couver, London, Paris, ...\. You, having have had several-century-long history of suffrage of brutal tic/oppressive exploitation, [I am sure that\ understand the resentment that is ensued as the result of 110-years long resources-plunder and humiliating treatments (by West of Iran).

Does it make sense to go to a shop and, instead of saying "HIGH"/asking "HOW ARE YOU", BULLYINGLY with a blue-blooded condescending attitude humiliate, threaten and demand the shop-keeper that has something that we need so badly to give it to us? I am sure that if we treat people of Iran with respect and equals, they would be more than happy to be friends and trade with us. Let us "not do what we would not appreciate others do to us".

You should bow to the will of people of Iran regarding their decision to have [or not to have\ full nuclear fuel cycle capability and NOT wanting to be dependant on the outsiders that, for several time, have amassed their money but broke their contract with Iran without compensation [like France, Germany, USA\. People of Iran have the same right as we, for several times, have stated to have; the right of not reliance on others to give us our nuclear fuel.

Please, let [together with your Secretary of State\ us ask for and pray for forgiveness of God and people of Iran for our tresspassings that have inflicted harm and WRONGS on them. Promise me that you will put an end to our political abuses of the United Nations and its security arm, namely, the United Nations Security Council AND by removal of the illegally obtained sanctions-imposing resolutions and release of Iran's assets together with compensating Iran for our TRESSPASSes/Wrongs ask them to, once again, become our friend

What I am seeing [because of what I have seen of the racist people of our country\ is that Republicans love to have you or Hillary as the NOMINEE of the Democratic Party because they believe that they can beat you both easily because of the color of skin and gender prejudice/discrimination. I believe that Republicans are very happy; now that John Edwards pulled out of the race.

Although I crave for seeing your popularity to be genuine and true, because of the ignorance and embedded racism in our country, I am a kind of worried that it is the racist tactic of Republican party that might have instructed their members to vote for you so that they make you the nominee of the Democratic Party for to, then [during the face-to-face competition\, by turning on their vicious attack machine and having their members [amongst which the most racist ones who normally do not vote\ to cast their votes for Republican nominee; and once again very easily [for another four years\ steal the Presidency from the people.

I hope I am wrong. Call me skeptic, ... but I think it is a very wishful thinking [of Caroline and Senator Kennedy\ to think that racist Republicans, as well as Asians/Hispanics -- who seem not to like "Blacks -- and prejudiced White Democrats, would vote for an African American even at this day and age [in 21st century\.

Also, though, it sounds idealistic, let us remove the Veto right that, unfairly, we have given ourselves OR let us make Iran a member of UN Security Council with VETO power to bring balance in the decisions of UNSC because, as a kind/fair nation (that in its past history has given shelter to oppressed people an example of which is her current stance viz à vie Israel/Palestinian issue; the same stance that, 2500 years ago, Cyrus The Great of Iran, in upholding justice/fairness, took/had and gave shelter to the oppressed Jews that were fleeing/escaping the brutal Ferro of Egypt. It is ironic that, nowadays, in their name (in the name of Jewish people) Israel has engaged in brutal racist apartheid oppression on Palestinians AND the same Iran, since 1979, for the sake of upholding JUSTICE/FAIRNESS, is rejecting brutal treatment of Palestinians by Israel.

This way, people of the world would see our sincere regret that would, gradually, make them to, once again, look up upon us with admiration, respect and envy.

      Yours,

      Murray

Military Industrial Complex Has High-jacked the Constitution And Democracy

      Who Is McCain?

A dangerous wounded soul; full of hate and suppressed unfulfilled-desire complexes

Unfit To Be The President Of, Even, A House

Load up on guns and bring your friends

      Mon, 24 Mar 2008 22:01:46

By Hedieh Ghavidel, Press TV, Tehran

Once upon a time there was a country named America which was founded on repressing and murdering its original inhabitants and on the ideas of equality and freedom from injustice.

And since it is a long story, we fast-forward to the present year and the presidential elections.

In the year 2008, 71-year-old Arizona Senator John McCain is the Republican frontrunner, a clumsy soul who, wherever he goes objects seem to find a way to run into him; a man who graces the audience with rolling his eyes and fidgeting like a bored teenager and who blinks too much when he is caught lying.

A man who has promised to "always tell the truth about his intentions and his beliefs" and most importantly "straight talk".

All nations, not just Americans, want their political leaders to be in control and to carry themselves with dignity. They take pride in leaders who do not behave like junior citizens and have no desire for a bad comedian to govern their country.

However, the four-time senator, who is likely to become the next US president, fits the stereotype of a showman politician who entertains voters by singing "bomb bomb Iran" and does not object to people asking him "how to beat the b**ch" when referring to his democratic rival and colleague.

      Lies in disguise

In 2003, Vietnam vet McCain, a strong advocate of the war on Iraq, predicted that, 'victory will be rapid, within about three weeks' and since then he has been promising the American public that the war will soon be over.

"It's clear that the end is very much in sight. â?¦ It won't be long. It, it'll be a fairly short period of time," he claimed in April 2003.

"We're either going to lose this thing or win this thing within the next several months," he told Meet The Press in November 2006.

"My friends, the war will be over soon, the war for all intents and purposes," he said in Ohio February 2008.

However, in January 2007, McCain had a lapse in his memory. Gone from his mind were the remarks he had made over the past four years as he stood in front of the camera and said, "the American people were led to believe that this would be some kind of a day at the beach which many of us fully understood from the beginning that it would be a very very difficult undertaking."

"I knew it was probably gonna be long and hard and tough and those who voted for it and thought that somehow it was gonna be an easy task then I'm sorry they were mistaken, maybe they didn't know what they were voting for," he told MSNBC in 2007.

His memory was reset to before 2003 and he no longer knew or could be convinced that he was in fact one of the original supporters of the Iraq war.

      The bright future

McCain later argued that the handling of the Iraq war was a mistake, not the initial invasion of the country.

The senator next informed voters, in concrete terms, how under his guidance the USA would continue to wage war, conveying that the best way to export democracy and lifestyle is at the point of a gun.

In January 2008, in response to a question pointing out that George W. Bush had talked about staying in Iraq for 50 years, John McCain said 'make it a hundred'.

His 'quick victory' was now a centennial stay in which at least four generations of American youth would have to "willingly" die to satisfy the insatiable greed of politicians and corporations for power and oil.

He also let the public know how sorry he was that "there's going to be other wars. We will never surrender but there will be other wars". McCain stated in Florida in January, "It's a tough war we're in. It's not going to be over right away. There's going to be other wars,"

In Afghanistan, he was hasty to tell not only US officers but also the British troops they should prepare for a 100-year commitment in Afghanistan.

There is no reason why anyone should question why a US senator sees it as his right to dictate or even suggest what the British military should do? Perhaps he is unaware that the UK has yet to become the 51st American state.

      Internal affairs

The long-time civil servant appears clueless not only about current world affairs but, surprisingly, about critical issues facing America, the country he believes he has the wisdom to 'lead'.

In a recent Atlanta meeting he eloquently acknowledged the US financial strain, "So, I would say that, oh, it's very likely, and more and more economists are saying that we are probably, quote, 'in a recession'".

The same day, in a CBS 60 Minutes interview, he declared 'the fundamentals of the US economy are still very strong'.

"A lot of this is psychological. A lot of it's psychological! Because I agree the fundamentals of our economy is still strong," the Arizona senator said on January 23.

Strange remarks at a time when the United States has reportedly suffered a 63,000-job loss just in February and is headed full-speed toward an economic collapse.

When politicians concede that there is possibility of a recession, it actually means they are already knee-deep in one and most likely headed for a major depression.

Strange to claim 'it's all in your head' when economists say the United States is facing 'the most serious combination of macroeconomic and financial stresses' in at least a generation.

America, the beacon of freedom, the self-appointed leader of the free world, is learning fast that things are not so free. Of course, the country's massive debt and collapsing economy is nothing to worry about when credit is always available and any crisis can be dealt with by shopping, as was suggested to Americans after 9/11.

Plan for the youth of America

Senator McCain may not be much of an economist, but he knows enough about family planning and the threat of over population to dream up more wars in order to cull a few.

His plan will provide vocations for the thousands of unemployed youth by sending them to fight overseas, assisting in the death of countless innocent civilians along with American and European soldiers.

A quick troop reshuffle and more unemployed can be shipped off to fight and show their patriotism by losing limbs and dying for their country.

Bring in oil, fight overpopulation and create new job opportunities with war. What better way to kill a few birds with one stone?

      Fantasizing about the world

In a trip to Jordan, the presidential nominee-in-waiting claimed with confidence that it is 'common knowledge and in the media that al-Qaeda is going back into Iran and receiving training and are coming back into Iraq from Iran, that's well known. And it's unfortunate'.

"I'm sorry, the Iranians are training extremists, not al-Qaeda," McCain corrected himself only after Senator Joseph Lieberman who was unsuccessful in catching his attention leaned over and whispered in his ear.

Under sharp criticism, he then resorted to the common conservative tactic that his mishap was to blur 'the differences between groups with different goals and ideologies in order to create the illusion of a united Islamofascist enemy'.

"To think that I would have some lack of knowledge about Sunni and Shia after my eighth visit and my deep involvement in this issue is a bit ludicrous."

It is ludicrous! It was not the senator's fault that his aides had not explained political concepts and world affairs to him in simpler language. The self-proclaimed 'most qualified leader' is not to blame for needing to be schooled in different subjects.

Perhaps someone should encourage him to use the cue-card system invented for Ronald Regan when he was running for office as a means of damage control.

      Treading on the president's toes

Old man John is also in a bit of a rush to personally escort Bush out of the White House and lay claim to the oval office. In the last leg of his badwill tour, aimed at reassuring Americans he is out there doing business for USA Inc, after a meeting with the French president in Paris he announced:

"President Sarkozy has already recommended that we join together with meaningful sanctions on Iran that would deter them on their path of acquiring nuclear weapons."

Apparently, the senator has no desire to wait until securing the presidency before starting to shop for allies and it is his turn to insist on determining the fate of other nations as the leader of the United States.

      Temper, Temper

There are others who ask how the future of America will be if Senator McCain becomes president, as he is notoriously hot tempered and infamous for his run-ins with other Republican senators. "Everybody on The Hill has a McCain story".

Iowa Senator Charles Grassley who was subject to McCain's "I'm calling you a f****** jerk!" said in an interview that he was so upset by the tirade that he did not speak to him for two years.

Many say Americans should be worried that if he becomes president and turns his temper on the Secretaries, and they refuse to speak with him not for two years but merely a few weeks, what will become of America amid the subsequent political chaos.

"F*** you," McCain shouted at Texas Senator John Cornyn last year.

"Only an a****** would put together a budget like this," the Arizona senator told the former Budget Committee chairman, Senator Pete Domenici, in 1999.

If McCain's foreign policy reflects his impulsive temper, will any corner of the world be safe from his wrath?

Some like the Mississippi Senator, Thad Cochran, have gone far enough to say that the thought of McCain's presidency "sends a cold chill down my spine; He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me."

What a wonderful person to have within reach of the missile launch codes.

      The conspiracy theorist

There are some who have accused the senator of paranoia after he declared Tehran is attempting to influence the upcoming general election by increasing the casualties of the US-led war in Iraq.

"We still have the most lethal explosive devices coming across the border from Iran into Iraq," said the Arizona senator.

      Traitor

Although he spent six years in captivity during the Vietnam War, he is well-known as a person who has done more than anyone else in Washington to bury the POW/MIA (Missing Personnel Act) and especially the POW/MIA Rescue Act, a bill which would have granted political asylum to any southeast Asian national who brought a living American POW to freedom.

Why would a former POW oppose such a bill?

Even though he likes to present himself as a hero, facts show he violated the Military Code of Conduct four days after being captured on Oct. 26, 1967, in exchange for better medical treatment.

The Code specifically orders American personnel to give the enemy no information other than name, rank, serial number, and date of birth, yet McCain admitted to exchanging military information during his six-week hospital stay in a May 14, 1973 interview.

Government records show that less than two weeks after he was taken to the hospital, Hanoi's press began quoting specific military information only Admiral McCain's son could have told them.

Records also show that McCain continued to collaborate with the Vietnamese after he recovered from his injuries and that he conducted several anti-US broadcasts.

This could explain why he personally traveled to Hanoi in May of 1993 with soon-to-be Ambassador to Vietnam Pete Peterson and convinced the country to agree that they would never make public their interrogation files of American POWs.

      Corruption

The number five of the famous 'Keating Five', the senators accused of corruption in 1989, after a lengthy investigation by the Senate Ethics Committee was announced to have been only 'minimally' involved in the scandal in 1991.

While 'minimally' involved does not mean not guilty, it also does not mean he was acquitted of corruption charges!

      Losing American jobs

McCain's role in the US Air Force decision to award a lucrative contract to build airborne refueling planes to a team, including the European parent of Airbus, instead of the Chicago-based Boeing should not be overlooked.

The deal would have enabled Boeing to support some 44,000 new and existing jobs in 40 states.

"Having made sure that Iraq gets new schools, roads, bridges and dams that we deny America, now we are making sure that France gets the jobs that Americans used to have. We are sending the jobs overseas, all because John McCain demanded it," said Democratic congressman Rahm Emanuel.

Something to think about as it may well represent the policies he will undertake in regard to the American economy, job losses and countless US businesses moving offshore to maximize profits.

      Health

John McCain underwent a melanoma operation in August 2000 and while experts have said his health prospects appear favorable, the 71-year-old senator's refusal to make public his detailed medical records or even the names of his physicians seems rather suspicious.

A skeptic would ask why all the secrecy if there is nothing to hide? Some say that in his eagerness to fulfill his dream of becoming the oldest man ever to be elected as first term president, the senator wants to keep certain issues from the attention of the public.

The senator's mental capacity and awareness have also come under fire; his frequent memory lapses, such as when he had a 180-degree change of heart only "11 minutes" after making a controversial statement on MSNBC's Hardball in 2006.

The economics-challenged McCain's indecisiveness about issues such as whether the US economy is going strong or tumbling toward recession has also been cited.

Many say that, given McCain's advanced age and his history of cancer, it is not certain that he will serve out his term if elected, so Americans, and indeed the world, should be concerned with who his chosen running mate will be.

      Change / No change

Change has been a key slogan in the current election process. It has been said that if American's want change, they are looking to the wrong candidate. Intent on using most of the Bush advisors, the senator is clearly saying his presidency would be an extension of the Texan's reign.

Another question raised is how a person who mocks his fellow Congressmen and women by dubbing Washington the 'city of Satan' can be respected while he is furiously campaigning for the position of Head Devil?

It is suddenly like a scene from Saramago's novel Blindness, an epidemic has broken out and people with no physical problem fail to see what is happening right under their noses.

Americans are headed toward electing a man who says he 'doesn't agree with what the majority of American people want' and his favorite punch line is 'no you can't'.

Luckily, we realize the remote is still in our hands, hit the pause button and think so much for a government "of the People, by the People, and for the People".

Then without hesitation, we press the stop button.

      Negroponte, a Neo-Con? Shocking!!

      Feb 19 2005

Memo To: Sen. Joe Biden, Senate Foreign Relations

      From: [the late\Jude Wanniski

      Re: Questions for Negroponte

You may remember, Senator, I posted a memo on the margin to you on April 27, 2004, when I learned that John Negroponte, the US Ambassador to the U.N., was nominated to be the U.S. Ambassador to Iraq. I told you then that, from what I could see, he was a loyal agent of the megalomaniac neo-con Cabal to run the world, and we would regret putting him in charge of promoting "democracy" in Iraq. He was actually "placed" there not by President Bush, but by his real boss, Richard Perle, to promote a puppet government that would do the bidding of Perle and his Cabal (Cheney, Wolfie, Rummy, etc.) As I tried to explain to you back then, Senator, Negroponte came up through the bureaucratic ranks by doing exactly as he was told by the neo-cons, and now President Bush has been snookered yet again into doing the bidding of the Cabal. He has appointed Negroponte to be the Biggest Cheese of all in the National Intelligence Community, the CZAR of national intelligence!!!

Negroponte is and always has been a "capo" in the Perle mafia, and now because he looks "respectable," a public servant who has worked for both Democratic and Republican presidents, he gets to be King of the Mountain. Don`t be a dope, Senator. It will be still be Perle and the neo-cons pulling his strings, as they always have. And once he is confirmed, we are being told he will be President Bush`s "primary" briefer, coming into the Oval Office every morning to tell Mr. Bush what Richard Perle & Co. want him to hear. Where are the enemies? Which are the rogue states? Who shall we bomb today?

I`m not sure how the confirmation process is going to work, Senator. Maybe you will not be able to get a question in edgewise. But as ranking Democrat on Senate Foreign Relations, you should at least be able to find out when John Negroponte first met Richard Perle, and what the occasion was. What I mean to say is this is a good shot at turning over the rock and finding out what is slithering beneath. Perle and his pals would like nothing more than to have a few questions tossed at Negroponte about his role in the Honduras, back in the Cold War. He probably lied through his teeth, but what the heck, we were in a Cold War, and I will give him all those lies. But he was at the U.N. in 2003 when every other diplomat in the world could see there was no reason to go to war with a toothless Iraq. Except Negroponte, who showed up every day to say whatever it was in his instructions from Perle and the neo-con Cabal. Poke around, Senator.

Here`s that old memo I mentioned earlier:

      April 27, 2004

      Just Who is John Negroponte?

Memo To: Sen. Joe Biden, Senate Foreign Relations

      From: Jude Wanniski

Re: John Negroponte = Ahmed Chalabi

Of course the Presidentâ??s nomination of John Negroponte to be U.S. Ambassador to Baghdad will sail through the confirmation process that began today. It would normally take weeks at least to get the Senateâ??s rubber stamp for such a high post in such a delicate situation, but the way has been greased for Negroponte, the current UN Ambassador, on the grounds that timeâ??s a wastinâ??. You surely know the real reason for the short-cut is to deny the many serious opponents of his nomination a chance to speak their piece, as it might soon become clear that he is NOT the right man for the job. In a sense, Negroponte is the foster brother of Ahmed Chalabi, the Iraqi foster child of Richard Perle, as Negroponte has also climbed the diplomatic ladder with assistance every step of the way from Perle and the neo-cons.

Perle continues to control his network -- which controls the Bush administrationâ??s foreign policy, even though Perle had to resign his 16-year post at the Defense Policy Board. So too, Negroponte will be able to run Iraq as proconsul in the Perle/Wolfowitz/Rumsfeld empire even if his brother Chalabi gets cut out of the interim government to be named June 30. I noticed the New York Times this morning finally took note that Chalabi is not currently in favor at the White House, which is having trouble explaining why it has invested so much power and money in a convicted felon who would spend decades in prison if he ever set foot in Jordan, our erstwhile ally. Never mind, the neo-cons saw this coming, so they rush-rushed their man Negroponte to the Ambassador slot. There he can cut through all the red tape that Chalabi needs cutting in his megadeals in post-war Iraq. That is, if the there ever is a post-war Iraq.

You were there at the hearings today, Senator, when Andres Thomas Conteris, a Latin American human-rights activist jumped up in the audience to denounce Negroponte for the role he played on behalf of the Cold Warriors when he was ambassador to Honduras during the the Nicaragua Contra war in the early 1980s. He was detained, removed from the hearing room, and released elsewhere in the Capitol, but not before an exchange occurred, which I wonder if we will see in the papers tomorrow.

At the hearing your Republican colleague Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) asked Negroponte if "the sovereign Iraqi government of July 1 would not have veto authority over military involvement in [a situation like\ Fallujah? ... If they have sovereignty, Mr. Ambassador, what does that mean? ..." Negroponte responded: "That is why I use the term `exercise of sovereignty.` I think in the case of military activity, their forces will come under the unified command of the multinational force. That is the plan...." U.S. forces, said Negroponte, "are going to be free to operate in Iraq as they best see fit." Situations like Fallujah would have to be the "subject of real dialogue between our military commanders, the new Iraqi government and the U.S. Mission as well."

Itâ??s here that Conteris spoke up, objecting to such a "dialogue," he said: "We need to support nonviolence, not the violent polices of the United States. There is no sovereignty Mr. Ambassador if the U.S. continues to exercise security. Senators, please ask the ambassador about Battalion 316. Ask him about a death squad in Honduras that he supported." Conteris was then removed from the hearing room by the Capitol Police.

According to the Institute for Public Accuracy, an antiwar outfit in Washington, Conteris said later: "I spoke up because Negroponte at that moment was talking about sovereignty. I lived in Honduras for five years, I know the impact Negroponte`s policies had there in the early 1980s. At the time Honduras was known as the USS Honduras, basically an occupied aircraft carrier. Negroponte has been involved in subverting sovereignty in several other countries: Vietnam, the Philippines; he worked on Mexico`s adoption of NAFTA and tried to subvert Panamanian control over the canal."

Now Iâ??m not going to get into all that Honduras stuff, Senator. If you want to refresh yourself, you can read up on it at http://www.coha.org, the website of the Council on Hemispheric Affairs. The fact that we were up to our keisters in the Cold War back then does excuse a certain amount of trimming, assassinations, death squads, etc., which we should try to forget about. Indeed, back then when I was associate editor of The Wall Street Journal editorial page, I stood shoulder to shoulder with Perle, Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld, and the rest of the gang. But I broke ranks and became a dove when the Cold War ended. And as a dove, I have to tell you I think the Negroponte nomination has a fairly unpleasant odor about it, which I think the Senate â?? or at least Senate Democrats â?? will come to regret.

News of Negroponteâ??s background and performance in previous wars â?? not to mention the yeoman work he did for the Perle Cabal in greasing the skids for any diplomatic solution at the United Nations last year â?? is already making its way through the ranks of Iraqi insurgents, even as their mosques are bombed in Fallujah. I note Mubarak Awad, founder of Nonviolence International, another peacenik outfit, said today: â??The appointment of Negroponte is likely to inflame the outrage of many Iraqis, and rightly so." During the Cold War, I used to hurl epithets at peaceniks like Awad. But now it seems I am one of them and I agree that another choice of ambassador would be much less likely to stoke the jihad underway in Iraq. But if stoking is what you think necessary, go right ahead, but please donâ??t come around saying youâ??re sorry it didnâ??t turn out too well when it doesnâ??t.

If we are going to have any chance of getting out of the mess in Iraq, we will have to permit an Iraqi government elected next January to have the right to invite the U.S. military to leave forthwith. It is Negroponte`s job to make sure that does not happen, and we all know that, don`t we?

After watching Negroponte I was reminded of Dick Cheneys 112th Dream. In it the drums are beating for a war with Iran. The USA is subtley provoking Iran into making a mistake so that the USA has an excuse to go to war.

Charlie should not even bother with having government appointees on the show. You will never hear truthful or insightful information. A total waste of time.

The Turks were the inventors of modern mass genocide. Mr. Negroponte can't blithely dismiss discussion of this issue because "it happened a hundred years ago."

      ALLY OR CONFLICT OF INTREST

WHY ARE WE OPOSSING TURKEY GOING AFTER PKK KURDISH RESISTANCE(SOME PEOPLE SAY TERRORIST),YET WE ARE O.K WHEN ISRAEL IS OCCUPYING AND HAVE DAILY MOVES ACROSS "HIS"BORTHERS WHICH ARE OCCUPIED AND NOT THEIRS TO BEGIN WITH.

INSTEAD OF WORKING WITH POLICE AND PALESTINIAN GOVERNMENT TO CLOSE AND CAPTURE AND QUESTION THOSE WHO WE ARE SUSPECTING ARE INVOLVED IN ILLIGAL ACTIVITIES.

SHOULD WE NOT ENCOURAGE SAME ISSUES ACROSS THE BORDER TO ALL SO PEOPLE SEE THAT WE ARE JUST AND NOT FOLLOWING SPECIAL INTRESTS AND THEIR AGENDA'S(AIPAC,ETC).

This was a fairly interesting interview, and I appreciate Charlie letting the American public listen to people who help direct American foreign policy who they would not other wise have the opportunity to hear from in such detail. One point on the last question Charlie asked about Blackwater. It seems very odd to me that our country - which has a terribly powerful and well financed military - needs to heir private contractors to guard our diplomats. I know there are many practical issues involved; but from the point of view of public relations with the people of Iraq, and more importantly from the point of view of the legitimate exercise of American power and influence, it seems to me a very odd way to proceed. I wish Charlie would have asked about this: i.e. why doesn't our military guard our diplomats? The privatization of our military is a very serious matter because it goes to the heart of the connection between a democracy - and the promotion of all the values that term entails - and its military and its diplomatic representatives. I did not listen and simply will not listen to Negroponte.

I much prefer to hear Samatha Powers and to believe that there are United-Staters who still have a sense of decency.

Negraponte is full of sh*#t. I don't believe anyone from this Bullsh*%t administration. Why would you even let someone like Negraponte on your show. They are either liars or delusional. Enough said!

On a much lesser matter, I tuned into the Negraponte interview late, but, Charlie, has your set changed. I hope not. This set was cheaper looking, did you buy it at IKEA? The charm of your set is the worn look that reveals the history and culture of your program. I always expect to see the signature of your guests carved into your wonderful table. Get rid of the "Charlie Rose" TV monitor in the background, bring back the history and culture of the great wooden table. Also, the sound quality sucks as well.

      From a long-time, admiring fan.....
