I suggest you interview Judge Thomas regarding his new book, "My Grandfather's Son".

Chris Hill is the prudent, intelligent and informative U.S. Representative that we all hope exists out there but hardly ever see on tv or news. Maybe someday we'll see him as deputy or secretary of state.

God bless America, for having sharp diplomats like Chris Hill. It was apparent from your interview why he has been integral to the successful change in approach from the ill-advised posturing and pontificating of the earlier days of the Bush administration. He has been part of the laudable team effort to steer us away from a nuclear war footing in that area and bring us back to approximately the state of affairs achieved under the Clinton administration. This adventure should serve as a cautionary tale to cocky newly-elected officials who think they can do a lot better than their predecessors by following a nutty bombastic master of the universe approach to foreign affairs. If this deal holds, Roh Moo-Hyun, Kim Jong-Il, Christopher Hill and his team and counterparts deserve a Nobel Peace Prize. We need more of the Chris Hills of this world, and less of the overbearing arrogance of the Nicholas Burns, John Bolton, et. al. species of diplomat.

Was the South Korean President's reception in PYnogyang a cool one? I would like to know whether Kim Jung Il really was "glum" when eh met President Roh as the media says. It was the buzz of Seoul.
