The Presidential Race is taking over the Media. Kevin Price wrote a really interesting blog about Christopher Dodd. Check it out at www.bizplusblog.com.

Charlie brings out the best in his interviews. Sen. Chris Dodd was a perfect example. I saw Senator Dodd at a house party in S.C. and at the debate at The Citadel and he appeared reticent and in "the background" . .yet the September 12 Rose Show gave me such an accelerated view of Dodd's personality, his clarity, his ideas and his intelligence. WOW! Keep it up. . .Dodd and Rose. Thank you!

Apologies if I double posted, but I got an error message.

Great interview. Dodd is cool discussing detail. He sweats the detail.

Now have much more respect for him, compared to the little I previously new about him. I think he more than "sound bite" Biden, (whom I respect,no offense intended), can be a viable alternative to Hill and Barac, but ultimately I support Obama, because I want to turn a page into the 21st century.

Charlie, thank you for the offer to provide candidates with a forum to discuss a single topic for an hour. Run with it, please.

The discussion about Senator Thomas Dodd's role in the Nuremberg Trials was inspirational and educational. I am looking forward to the one on one conversation you are going to host between Senator Dodd and Senator McCain. Your program showcased the real character of Senator Dodd.

What a thrilling interview with Sen. Dodd. It left me with hope and a candidate to support. Keep up these provacative encounters with candidates. Look forward to a possible conversation between Sen. Dodd and Sen. McCain....or other candidate pairings. Thank you

Thank you, Mr. Rose, for the opportunity to get a better understanding of Senator Dodd's views and (now)obvious capabilities. Your interviews enabled me to regain hope that there are politicians with knowledgeable, broadbased skills who might lead our nation. The concept of two candidates "discussing" a topic instead of vieing for a sound-bite second in a beauty-contest debate is THE way to go. Please do that. Keep up the good work.

      Thanks again,

      G. Peter Olsen

Excellent discussion. Great idea to have two candidates review an issue for an hour. Sen. Dodd certainly benefits from such exposure. Mr. Rose uses the medium to its full advantage yet again.

      Thank you

I would really look forward to the debates between Dodd and McCain. Both of them seem like sensible guys who would have a real debate/discussion on what is best for the future of America.

What an excellent interview with Sen.Dodd! I was extremely impressed by his comments regarding national and international current events. The idea of having him back to your program with Sen. Mc Cain for an hours discussion relating to world events would make for a very interesting program.

    14. Bill Foulkes  09/12/2007 02:05 PM Report

Thank you for airing such a great interview with Sen Dodd. We have too much sound-bite oriented discussion on the air. In contrast, it was refreshing for you to give significant time to one person. It was terrific interview and you allowed him to reveal much of this personality and thoughtfulness. Thank you.

    15. Clare Whitfield  09/12/2007 01:04 PM Report

This was a great interview. I didn't know how wise and sensible Senator Dodd was. I think your idea of having a series of televised conversations between Dodd and McCain would be GREAT...and much more effective in showing giving us more than the sound bites we have gotten in the debates so far. GO FOR IT.
