      One of my favorite films of the year. It's a real shame that neither Bale nor Crowe nor Foster got nominated for any awards, but they win awards in my book, and that's all that counts...just picked the movie up on blu-ray not too long ago, and it looks fantastic.

      Mr. Mangold deserves the Best Picture Oscar for this one, hands down. Can't think of a better message, nor have I seen one better conveyed, than the message in 3:10 to Yuma that my boys saw with me on the big screen Friday night:

      Every father should be his son's "hero!"
