Great interview! I learned so many new things about the show. I agree that this show appeals to all people at all levels. I like it for its satire, while others just enjoy the absurdity of its cast.
I think a lot of real genius for the show is in the writers. Perhaps Charlie Rose can interview some of them in the future? It would great to learn how they come up with their great humour.

I think there's an episode where they make fun of the Charlie Rose show. I wish (if i'm correct about this) somebody on the show would have researched this so charlie could have brought it up.

While I'm probably too late with this. Could you please ask Brooks and Groening how the cam up with teh Declan Desmond charachter. And why was it two weeks after we brought our twins boys, Declan and Desmond home from hospital??
