An interesting program but as the sole scientist pointed out the science is fairly new. AND more importantly that same science shows that the brain is highly plastic (neuroplasticity) that suggests that individuals brains change and adapt. This same body of work shows that personal development (the MIND) can and does influence the neurophysiology (the BRAIN) as well as the body (EMOTIONS). In other words the argument "that my brain made me do it" is in fact an excuse and not a reason.

Something is wrong with your program because I did not put in all those question marks in my comment or that little mark over the small letter "a".There is not an editing program so I can not fix it, so just delete the question marks.

I was thinking, when you were discussing at the end of the show about lie detection that this is something that politicians should be required of when they are questioned before Congressional Committee or in front of â??Confirmation Hearingâ??sâ??. I am someone who believes most of the time that the Politicians are lying. An example that comes strongest to mind were the confirmation hearings for Alberto Gonzales because when he was asked numerous times would he hold the office without political [Party\ bias and every time he answered YES, I knew he was lying, his whole demeanor was shifty and his words were meant to obfuscate his true intent. Now that his untruths are coming into the light, he excuses his criminal misbehavior as he can't remember or that he was confused. If these guys were in â??Businessâ?? they would have been fired almost after "Day One" unless their intent was to strip us of our â??Constitutional Rightsâ??, "Steal the Bank" and put our "Country" into debt for perpetuity to the ex-Communist Chinese. I also believe when Politicians are found to be liars, that all laws that they passed should be null and void, since they got into "Office" by lying.
