I think Charlie Rose knows that Tom DeLay is not to be believed. But I have to give Charlie credit for trying to run a professional, courteous interview anyway. What part of the word "Con Artist" don't we understand in this interview?

Did you noticed how Tom DeLay's memory suddenly fails him when asked about Jack Abramoff? "Oh yeah, we are very close but I can't seem to remember how long ago we spoke (5 years?). I'm not involved with the investigation of the Abramoff lobbiest corruption scandals so why would I know anything?"

I wonder whether this guy knows he's a liar or (worse) that he lies but believes in his own BS.

The time for ideologues is passed. Tom Delay is an ultra-partisan goon that makes Newt look like a moderate.
