      Just because he has an accent I don't think he is inadequate for the job, besides Charlie's Spanish is not that good either.

      Me alegro mucho cuando cualquier hombre recupera su libertad. Aun asi Fernando Araujo no deberia ser canciller Colombiano. Ha demostrado de manera contundente en este programa que su manejo del ingles y sobre todo de relaciones con extranjeros es pesima! Este programa es visto por las clases elites y educadas estadounidenses y hasta europeas, Arajuo no quedo sino como una pobre porrista para la ayuda extranjera. No supo responder de manera iluminativa ninguna pregunta que le hizo el entrevistador. Sus respuestas se vieron limitadas a sencillezas rodeando el mismo tema de "colombia es democratica, valora USA y quiere ayuda".

      Charlie, congratulations on a wonderful conversation yet a failed interview. As your opening questions indicate, some insight into Colombo-American relations and the popular political climate in south america would have been wonderful. Unfortunately the minister could not deliver. The conversation was still enjoyable as his story is an impressive one.
