Why don't those who accuse the Lees of nepotism check up on LHL's qualifications and track records? He has 20 years of political career before becoming PM, graduated from Cambridge and Harvard, held the post of finance minister and head the MAS (central bank, during the asian crises 97-98) before becoming PM. Is this an easy task? Singapore continued to grow when Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia were in financial slump during the asian crises. But what made Singapore different from these countries? We have great leaderships and no natural resources! Give credits when a job is well done. Ignorant westerners.

What about the nepotism that got him this job? What about how the Lee Family and Singapore muzzle the press and sue opponents into bankruptcy? Charlie Rose was soft on this dictator.

Its definitely not nepotism, it's just gods miracle that all the talent out of a few million people only comes from one family. Well what is more amazing is that its not only in the blood but also from other bodily fluids as well. Marriage to one of the talented family member and injection of the super fluid also makes you an extremply talented individual overnight. Its also gives you a super human strength and immunity to outlast all blunders and screw ups

The family is not corrupt. I live in Singapore, and I am grateful that this family has brought such monumental development to Singapore.

There is no such thing as nepotism in Singapore. Why don't you look at Malaysia huh? Their father were ministers, and now their sons are ministers. =D

40 Years, LKY and his old guards are able to bring this country to the highest standard that we ourselves could not imagine. We do not need freedom to speak because the government takes in our feedback.

If he have protests and insults which harm our multi-racialism, it would severely damage the investors confidence in us and cause our economy a great loss.

If like being called a liar when you're not? I would sue that fellow the same way they did.

Freedom of Speech does not give you the licence to insult and hurt other people like that idiotic Geert Wilders.

So remember my country's government is not run by corrupts. I love my country.

      Remember that...

Why didn't he ask about Singaporean muzzling of the Press to prevent any mention of nepotism which got this guy into his position as Prime Minister? What about the massive libel payouts that are being gouged out of the Press to the benefit of the corrupt family that runs the joint?
