I also would like to see a conversaation with Phil Donahue about his film and thoughts about our veterans healthcare.

A very special man with infectious enthusiasm! What Mr.Donahue, alongside documentary filmmaker Ellen Spiro, have recently done with their stirring film Body Of War (about Tomas Young) is nothing short of phenomenal. Mr. Donahue is a crucial and prescient voice in these less than certain times -- the standing ovation Body Of War received at the Toronto International Film Festival back in September in part exhibits such. It would be compelling to see Mr. Rose again in conversation with Mr. Donahue... perhaps along with Ms. Spiro, Mr. Young and Mr. Vedder (who provided original songs for the film) at the round table. These voices inform and inspire like few others and must be heralded. Side note: I love his line: "and so, now you find out who's got a soul, and who doesn't", at 30:25 in the above interview, when speaking of the dilemma associated with booking guests and scheduling a show. A great interview to cull out of the archives, time to see another!
