      Please tell Mr. Timberg that I was one of those "subordinates" in VA-174 whom he was referencing. My last name at the time was Lewis. I'd be willing to talk with him. Also, Cindy was around in 1976. I remember seeing her when she came to visit the squadron. When I transferred in 1979, my master chief paid me a personal visit to inform me that John was marrying Cindy.
