I'm almost 63 years old. I have my news heroes and Howard K Smith is one of them. Accurate news is hard to get. Trying to sift through all the barren hours that is put on TV as legitimate news is tedious stuff. In my lifetime, my news heroes are the following:

Edward R Murrow - Eric Severeid - Howard K Smith - Bill Moyers - Charlie Rose - Don Imus

Never has any of these people let me down. I will say that Tim Russert would be at the top of my second list.
