Woody is just "out there". Promoting hemp? How about spinich or bent nails? This has to be Woody having a private joke on Charlie, the audience, the Establishment.

Truely a silly interview in the beginning, or so it seemed until Woody explained himself. Woody turns sociologist, concluding we have a disharmony with Nature. Woody tells us how to be happy by being closer to Nature.

An environmentalist that gives critics foder for jokes, unfortunately.

Eventually turns into an interview about "Kingpin", his recent movie at the time. Got into Woody being a fighter at one time. He comes off as a real screwball in this interview, crediting Elvis for getting into acting. Not hard to see how Woody won the job on Cheers as a dim bartender... he just acts himself.

That being said, Woody is just a free spirit who probably spits in the wind to defy the odds of it coming back to him. A refreshing interview from all the droll, usual Rose interviews.
