By far the top of my list of the most moving, touching and heartwrenching books I have ever read. Huge respect for her, would love to sit and have coffee or take a walk with her and just tell her how beautiful and strong she is . . .

I'm late in reading this and want to share the book with others yet fearful of giving it to anyone -- I want to cherish this book and read it again and again.

I sobbed for her at the end, much as I did when I learned of the plane crash . . . loved that she didn't share too much details but wove together the lives she loved and ultimately lost. My heart goes out to her.

Also found it wonderful to read of JFK's charming wife Carolyn -- so nice to hear after the media made her out to be such a "wreck" . . . wished I had seen this CR shoe -- missed it. Love to all - harm to none.

The truly honest emotional story that Carol shares with us, the reader. Brings to the surface all that we as humans feel when we part with a loved one. However, it is hard to imagine the pain and loss that Carol felt parting with three people that she loved.

The book wove a wonderful tapestry of her relationships. It did end too soon. The title What Remains. Left me curious, about what did remain of her journey. I have checked to see if there is a sequel to her book. I am hopeful to read, how Carol continued on along her path.

One of the most touching accounts of the human condition that I have ever read. Ms. Radizwill’s account of her life and love is presented in a mosaic that allows the reader to know all one needs to know about the quality of the individuals with whom she shared her life without unnecessary details that one often is bombarded with these days.

She is a “good” woman with a good story, her strength and character amazed me. I felt privileged that she would share this painful story with the reader. Definitely an account that I will remember for a long, long time.

I read the book and I have to say I have huge respect for Carole. Everything about it was great and enjoyed every singe sentence of it.
