I watched the interview with Mr. Rumsfeld on 14 May 2011,

two weeks after Bin Laden was killed by a JSOC team of Navy

Seals. President Obama quite rightly called their performance superb. It was a KILL/CAPTURE Mission, the kind

we are conducting in Afghanistan. On 10 May 2011, FRONTLINE

(PBS) aired an hourlong program on KILL/CAPTURE. It was a scathing indictment of the program. The entire broadcast relied heavily on interviews with Afghanis who had been victimized by KILL/CAPTURE. They objected to US troops entering their homes without permission and seeing their wives. Cultural transgressions. FRONTLINE portrayed our troops as ruthless, arrogant thugs engaged in terrorizing

harmless civilians. Mr. Rumsfeld remarks about media bias

were validated by the FRONTLINE report. Mr. Rose seemed to

take issue with Mr. Rumsfeld's remarks. At one point, he

alluded to them "risking their lives in pursuit of the truth." Rose stopped short of calling them martyrs(I guess

you have to die to get that award).

The American media was rather subdued when Bin Laden was killed. They are also rather reticent about Pakistan's

loyalty to a butcher who murdered 3200 people on 9/11. Rose,

and his media brethren support the war on terror, as long

as its noble, just, heroic, gallant, and a bunch of other

things its not. They have slandered our military and our

troops. "They're risking their lives..." What nonsense.

If you cant stand behind the troops, stand in front of them.

"they would say 'its irresponsible to report only the good news'" Really? they say that? If that were the case why are there not more reports on amount of crime illegal aliens do in this country? why are there so few reports on the dangers of pedophilia? When was the last time Mr. Rose did a indept report on the crimes on our childern in this country by mulitple offenders? and counter blanace that by the amount of shows on how badly america has been effected by liberating Iraq... nay theres no way the objective reporter's pulithere prize winners would ever be pushing an agenda would they. how dare I even think this way.
