I'm probably not the "typical" Garrison Keillor fan. I am young, black and untill recently an upcoming professional in the financial services arena.

I remember one of my first experiences listening to a Prairie Home Companion was back in college which came up really by accident. My strict family rules forbid me from watching tv so all I had was radio for entertainment - so on a Saturday night if I was not out I would listen to this show and so began my fascination with APHC and other NPR shows.

It's the story, the pure unadulterated, simple captivating story of Keillor - no 3D effects, no sex or violence but an interesting story about some part of life that we can all identify with.

This is definitely an art I see don't see these days and I deeply grateful for Keillor.

This and other interviews with Keillor are a treasure.
