      Wow, that was a very touching interview. Having come from a similar place, I found myself on the edge of tears as he described the pain he felt as a child. This was very powerful. I wish there were more people willing to be this open about the effects of childhood abuse/trauma.

      Gary Oldman is riveting and raw as he laments his father's absence since childhood. "Nil by Mouth" addresses the issue indirectly, but speaks directly to the many who have endured, and hopefully overcome, similar parental failings.
