I've followed Pat Buchanan since learning of his work with Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan. He is always the "MOST informed guy in the room". I've voted for him and continue to support his ideas. Long live PJB!

Not just true, tru-ER today than a decade ago. Buchanan is perhaps the best analytical and predictive voice of this current epoch. Not just highly intelligent -- thus and therein the ability -- but just as incisively he is a pragmatist rather than idealist and, from that, a patriot inverse to the outward utopian zealots (true face much of the time if not all, being that of pernicious and solipsistic greed; a wish for the return of the slave trade most chiefly from the superior elites, its own form of race both directly literal and simply self-reverential, ivory towered if not skinned, apropos of a class that so often buries its collective head up its ass).

Smartest wrong-winger in America - with

David Brooks, the best mind of the 19th cent

who at least parses reality issue by issue as

opposed to the neuroses of the current New Age

knee-jerk Nazi neo-con artists and their

"Contract on America". A yeoman's job as usual

      Charlie.

Smartest right winger in America. So many of his comments in 1998 ring true in 2007.
