      This guy is interesting when he talks about his business. Would like to hear more and less about zillionaire hobbies that I cannot relate to.

      I think Perkins is a little disingenuous when he says that the credit crunch will NOT affect Venture Capital.

      He is a little like the Fed here. He cannot spook the market. However the reality of the situation is that the credit crunch will absorb a lot of that excess VC liquidity just as it has in the housing market. A nice sinkhole for excessl liquidity.

      VC provides equity for company. Company finds it difficult to go public OR company finds it difficult to find domestic market in a recession, so company folds. Alikazam. Capital dissappears. VC will decline but just with a few years lag behind the recession.
