My guess is that you didn't listen to the interview. Had you, I believe you would've learned that Charlie didn't sell his soul. He apparently has an appreciation for good poetry and good songwriting. Charlie has apparently looked beyond the obvious pop identification and labels you seem to solely associate with her. Maybe you should listen to the interview. If one did that, there's less possibility one would question, why "Jewel???" Charlie's no dummy.

In my opinion, Jewel is the "pop" version of what God intended "woman" to be. Her total being is the definition of "Grace".

      Dear Jewel,

I watched your concert on television and for the first heard your wonderful voice. Incredible! I too was raised in alaska, the big village of Anchorage. I am so happy to see someone from my home who has made it out, as I have, and become successful. You are also funny and I know you are going to make it real big some day.

I know you have heard all the lines before, and I am not just some nut case who is stalking you, in fact I am very good looking, smile, but I can not lie, I think I am in love with you. I know you are likely to be involved, or at least have many chasing you, but I just wanted you to know that I think you are just amazing. I believe I would have all my hearts desire if I could just here you sing in my home every day for the rest of my life.

Do you plan to do anything live in Tacoma, Washington, or anywhere near? Really, I am not a nut case Jewel, I am just having a puppy love moment.

Keep up the good work and I hope to meet you one day.

      Respectfully,

      Gary Richardson
