David Graeber has an excellent new (2011) book out on debt. I have blogged on it here ...

Fantastic interview. The optimism is infectious.

An example of self-subverting authority I like is the parent-child one. Good parenting means making yourself unnecessary as a parent, which leads to a resetting of the relation of affection with your children. At a point, it kind of flips, and the authority relationship then flows in the opposite direction. Now you need your children's help. :)

      Very rational arguments for anarchism.
