Donald G. Pauley 06/27/2007 12:00 PM Report
Helen [Murph\ and I both graduated from JPHS in 1952. We are on the same page in the year book---we were friends because of our mutual interest in music. I was the accompanist for the variety shows of '50,'51 and 52.Helen was amazing in that she played the guitar and accordion so well having no formal training that I remember. She was a beautiful young girl--the ultimate Irish Lass look. I tried to contact Michael about his mother after I read the book on the way to Switzerland on Our 40th Ann. trip in 1996. I bought the book at Logan just before we boarded the flite--the minute I saw her picture with the children I knew it was Murph. I've always wanted to talk to Michael to tell him of some of his Mother's and my experiences in High school and to let his Mom know how much I admired her. I bought a total of 18 books to send to fellow class mates over the years. I sincerely hope that this gets back to Michael and ultimately to his Mom. Regards, Donald G. Pauley
