      Back in Germany he proudly revealed that he even smoked on American television -

      He is one of the smartest men we ever had in German politics, and we still suffer the economic consequences of not him having run the reunification of Germany. That he smokes ... So what? Conventions don't mean much to him.

      I was asked to reveal my maritual status and my salary before I could sign up to write this comment. I believe that's worse than public smoking.

      he's famous for his constant smoking!! he probably wouldn't agree on doing any interviews where he wasn't allowed to smoke.

      Was he smoking during the interview?....that cant possibly be true~
