A panel discussion about the court ordered breakup of the Microsoft Corporation, one of the largest corporations in the world. Ken Auletta of "The New Yorker", who is writing a book about the Microsoft trial, discusses the repercussions of this historic ruling. He is then joined by Steven Levy of "Newsweek", who has reported on Microsoft for his magazine. The discussion continues with analysis from two of the opposing sides: Joel Klein, the assistant attorney general in charge of the Anti-Trust Division, and William Neukom, the attorney for Microsoft.
