I hope Bill & Warren spend a lot of money on bird flu vaccine research! Bird flu has the potential to be the most devastating disease of the 21st century and will kill hundreds of millions worldwide within a short period of time. C'mon guys...wake up and realize the immense threat of bird flu!!!

I love Warren Buffet. He is so funny and self-effacing and his principles are right on. What Bill Gates is doing is incredible. Food for thought about national policymakers, especially in the US. The US government through its institutions such as IMF and Worldbank and also through its foreign policy has done A LOT over the past 40 years to put people into poverty rather than get them out of it. I am thinking of our support for unfair trade policies that benefit corporate interests and bereft the poor. Policies that have affected almost ALL of South America and Africa. The cold war and its proxy wars in the 80's have also contributed to that. Now, two great American businessmen are contributing 60 billion plus to helping the disadvantaged, but I want people to recognize that hundreds of billions of dollars of damage has been done through the US and its institutions in the past, so I hope policymakers will grow up to be as wise as these gentlemen in the future.

the right intentions are there...now only if they could act and not talk! june of '08 is too far...I'm sure they're preparing the ground, the soil, but they need to spread more seed and faster! so that the fruit can be seen ASAP!

How about a roundtable discussion with these former distinguished guests,on the war in Iraq.

      Professor Hoffman..

      Zbignew Brezinsky..

      Michael Weir..

      John Burns..

This event could initiate an early cessation to this disastrous war.

Their formidable combination of intellect and reportage could cause ,even the blind to see.Sometimes the word is mightier than the sword...John...

I love Warren Buffet. When can I find a replay of last night's broadcast? I caught only the last 20 minutes and am dying to see the rest ASAP. I watched it on I think channel 32 in Washington DC. Sometimes I get it on Ch. 26.

      Please advise ASAP.

      Thanks, Wendy Graham
