As a fellow Canuck, she's been my literary godmother. One knows she's a mentor to look to...I don't know what to say. She embroiders social history and feminism into imaginative canvases like no one else. What an interview.

The Handmaids Tale is one of the best books published in the last 30 years. I love her language and scrupulious detail.
