I watched this show because I've read the book and quoted it and urged all my friends to read it . I was so curious to hear and see her in person, but the book is much better then the interview because she can go on longer and really make some marvelous points. She got into some of those briefly on the farm subsidies and many other things you've never thought about our food.

She has a very thoughtful chapter on what to feed children. Our main vegetables are potatoes and lettuce!
