On the thirteenth day of fighting between Israeli forces and the Hezbollah militia, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is in the region to meet with both Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Lebanese Prime Minister Found Senior. In light of these events, Charlie speaks Dennis Ross of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

      I am not sure what the comment above is all about. I watch the same interview.

      My only issue with Dennis Ross is that he is inherently biased toward Israel. He did not once blamed the Israelis for the fiasco, but blamed the bush administration and the Palestinians.

      The fact is, it takes two to tango, and Israelis are not the best dancers when it comes to Palestinian issues.

      Dear Mr. Rose,

      It is embarrassing to watch you spar with people who have so much more expertise in a field than you. Contrary to what you seem to think, it does not enhance your reputation. And it is very annoying to hear you interrupt your guests when what they have to say is so much more interesting than what you have to say. You have the good judgment to invite the best to your show. Why not have the good manners to let them tell us, unimpeded, what they know? Tonight's interview with Dennis Ross was a case in point.
