Rick Bragg is the voice of our people in the deep South. I only wish more people made the effort to understand the strong survival nature in our folks instead of labeling them trash. Mr. Bragg's books ring true with the majority of us because the stories are about working your self into the ground for your family, a social code few understand, and the truth about classism.
