Although I find it just a bit tough to believe the official explanation for this disaster, this is by far my favorite September 11th documentary, and I also watched the recent 10-year anniversary update. It sheds such a raw and insightful light on what was such a horrible series of events, although I guess you could say the same for any of the well-done 9/11 Docs out there, but for some reason, this one holds a special place in my heart. In watching the update however, what really took me aback was hearing of the deaths of Firefighters Wiebicke and O'Neill. Although he was not as prominently featured in the initial broadcast as some of his colleagues, the photos of Mr. Wiebicke during his last days were profound to say the least. My heart feels for the loved ones of both. But really my heart feels for anyone who basically watched their friend(s) or fam member(s) die on that day. And ditto goes for those civilians and Emergency Service Workers who did survive, especially the men of Engine 7 Ladder 1, because I know that many of them still struggle emotionally, mentally, psychologically, spiritually... and physically. Yet still they have a job to do, but I guess all they really can do is take it one day at a time. Mr. De Niro did his thing as usual. Love him :-). God bless.
