Mr. Obama said he will aggressively seek a lasting peace between Israel and the Palestinians and that the U.S. will always defend Israel's "right to defend itself."

Code for kowtowing ENDLESSLY - RIGHT INTO ARMAGEDDON. Until we stop backing these child burning bastards (Phosphporous missiles into Gaza schools) the world and us don't deserve security. Perpetual humiliation would call in the-bomb on your on existence after a half century of enraged impotence. The disproportionate response of 1250+ Palestinians to 13 Israelis should make any humane response to isolate the Israeli's diplomatically and financially. But, alas, we're as brutal as the they are, and in a real sense deserve each other. Future 911s well earned and deserved.
