This interview with Hall and Oates is head and shoulders above most others televised interviews. Instead of asking the usual "tabloid" questions (Are you guys gay? Where's your mustache, John?...etc.), Charlie Rose asks them about their experience in the music business and aspects of their career that I am sure a lot of fans (casual and otherwise) have always wanted to hear a television interviewer ask them. Kudos to Mr. Rose!

Great interview Charlie! Hall and Oates seemed really relaxed with you. It was a pleasure to watch...and then (Wow!) listen to the 2 incredible numbers. Thanks for making my night. And I just e-mailed by sister to check it out also. Thanks for providing these archives. It's nice to be a "fly on the wall" to all these diverse conversations (Neil Young talking about alternate cars, Alison Krause, Robert Plant and T-Bone Burnett talking about collaboration, and Peter O'Toole--well just being Peter O'Toole (Brilliant!) and on and on. Thank you. Smiles.
