The former chief curator at MoMA, Kirk Varnedoe, and his successor John Elderfield, discuss the works of both painters, the relationship between the two artists and Varnedoe and Elderfield's roles at the Museum.

      A joy to listen to Kirk Varnedoe speak. an inspired and inspiring educator. His talk on Pollock should be compulsory for graduate students - there is a thesis in every sentence. A sheer delight.
