An hour-long conversation and tour of the "Matisse-Picasso" exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art Queens, in New York City. The former chief curator at MoMA, Kirk Varnedoe, and his successor John Elderfield, discuss the works of both painters, the relationship between the two artists and Varnedoe and Elderfield's roles at the Museum.

      Great show, great painters, great opportunity to hear them speak. Inspiring indeed, look at Varnedoe's eager answers... he will be missed.

      A joy to listen to Kirk Varnedoe speak. an inspired and inspiring educator. His talk on Pollock should be compulsory for graduate students - there is a thesis in every sentence. A sheer delight.
