At the heart of this conversation was one claim made by Itamar Marcus. It is that the Palestinian Authority have a policy of preaching hate and murder towards both individual Jews and the state of Israel. Ziad Asali had no answer to this accept to say that making accusations does not contribute to the peace process. But Marcus' point is that teaching children to hate and wish to destroy the 'other side' makes long term peace impossible.

Marcus was low- key, factual and presented an unfortunately true picture of the situation.
