If you are going to refer to the Democratic candidates, please remember there are THREE!

I know the interview was not meant to be focused on Democrats, but it is frustrating to hear no mention of John Edwards, the best candidate.

The Ken Mehlman Interview 01/16/08: Total Irritation - Ken Mehlman being allowed to present his opinions on the Primary, in front of a picture of the White House, has got to have irritated just about every voter last night. His caption, "Former RNC Chairman", doesn't do justice to his list of failures as chairman: Total meltdown of the party in 2006, not owning up to problem of missing 150,000 Karl Rove emails in RNC Mail servers, not hindering the White House agenda in destroying the Republican party platforms and scattering its base, all the damage control he has had to do for Tom Delay/Jack A./Cunning-ham/DA firings/Karl Rove/Alberto G./Bush, basically putting a Democrat in the White House in 2008. Mr. Mehlman has no real clue what the public wants if he thinks that the Republican Party has anything to offer after the pigstys that they have made of Congress, the White House, Iraq, New Orleans, etc - great places for the wealthy to come to the trough to feed without fear.

Ken Mehlman was energetic, articulate and good natured as always; however, I could see indicators of his frustration, which mirrored my own, as I carried on my own conversation with you. It went something like this: "Charlie!! Charlie!! Why do you keep bringing up Obama and all his charms??! The headliner for your show said Ken would be there to talk about the Republican candidates and agenda!! Obama just keeps getting millions of dollars worth of free publicity from you and other demo media"...and on and on...

Where has the Talented Mr Mehlman been for the past 7 years. Mr Mehlman puts a good face on Republican spin. GW shoulda trotted him out long ago, and maybe GW's poll ratings would be a bit better if he had done so.

Mehlman, who is this stooge? He sings the same song with same instrument. Is he a neocom clone? Shall I still keep donating money to PBS to listen to your guests and never get to hear the fat lady singing?
