Samantha Power seems to be an exceptionally talented author but for this segment I was actually far more impressed with John Prendergast - he was the best Charlie has had on in terms of explaining Darfur and the international diplomacy that surrounds it. He said in Darfur the desert is expanding so essentially there is no place for these people to go. It was a nightmare vision of what a change in the climate can do in conditions of extreme poverty, while the UN Security Council looks for excuses to do nothing. Meanwhile the refugee's stream out as they are out of Iraq - we should have heard more about that.
