    1. Ricardo_Amaral  03/21/2013 02:44 PM Report

Yesterday I was watching the choreographed show of Barack Obama arriving in Israel followed by a lot of staged BS.

What became obvious, and it was placed on the stage for the entire world to see it: how a country that did not even existed about 65 years ago, a little country the size of New Jersey with a population of less than 8 million people became the master manipulator of the foreign policy of a supposed superpower.

What kind of superpower let its foreign policy being dictated by a minor country and a policy that goes completely against the self-interest of the supposed superpower.

It is humiliating for the United States to submit its leader to all kinds of demands of this little country (Israel) – what makes it even more humiliating is that only a few months ago in August 2012 the Israelis attempted to assassinate General Dempsey, Chairman of America’s Joint Chiefs of Staff during a trip to Israel and Afghanistan.

The United States with friends like Israel, who needs enemies?

Planned war on Iran and the General who said No! - August 22, 2012

      http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2012/08/22/257558/iran-war-and-the-general-who-said-no/

US General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff

Today, General Dempsey, Chairman of America’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, the man who flew to Tel Aviv and informed Netanyahu that America wanted no part of his scheming against Iran was the subject of an assassination attempt in Afghanistan.

This wasn’t an act of terrorism or Taliban militants. It was a “mob hit” against someone who failed to kiss the feet of Netanyahu. His response was to unleash killers, not a fact for the public but a fact just the same, one the American military knows very well. Netanyahu has a problem with “hubris.”

The culprits, “militants,” managed to escape undetected from the most sophisticatedly defended real estate on earth, the perimeter of Bagam Air Force Base. Lucky for them they attacked at night, a time when America’s 5th generation night vision, ground radar and other detection systems were mysteriously disabled.

The rocket detection systems, early warning blimps with ground penetrating synthetic aperture radar and the continual coverage by UAV drones using infrared detection, $2 billion in technology on this one perimeter alone, cost the plane of America’s top military commander and wounds were sustained by two crew members.

Dempsey had just left Tel Aviv where he told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the following: “I may not know about all of [Israel's] capabilities, but I think that it’s a fair characterization to say that they could delay but not destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities.”

      *****

Only very few Americans have the courage to bring this subject up.

What is even more amazing is that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu despise the American politicians, and think that they are a bunch of idiots.

For the first time in world history, a supposed superpower let a little country that did not even existed 60 years ago manipulate its political system in a mind-boggling way.

The neurotic, and paranoid Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu comes to Washington and is giving the chance to addresses the US congress – a group of people that he has little regard for.

When “AIPAC” has its annual event, a large number of Congressmen, Senators, and members of the current administration shows up to that event to pay homage to their masters.

The irony of this annual fiasco is:

When neurotic, and paranoid Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is around his people in Israel then he shows his contempt for American politicians and the US political system. Here is Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu showing his true colors – At a point in the middle of the video Netanayhu asks the camera man to stop taping, but he continues...

Netanyahu says what he really thinks for the first time:

He brags about how easy is to manipulate the USA and he proudly explains how he sabotaged the Oslo process.

Netanyahu Brags About How Easy It Is To Manipulate The United States.

Bibi:...The Arabs are currently focusing on a war of terror and they think it will break us. The main thing, first of all, is to hit them. Not just one blow, but blows that are so painful that the price will be too heavy to be borne. The price is not too heavy to be borne, now. A broad attack on the Palestinian Authority. To bring them to the point of being afraid that everything is collapsing...

Woman: Wait a moment, but then the world will say "how come you're conquering again?"

Netanyahu: the world won't say a thing. The world will say we're defending.

Woman: Aren't you afraid of the world, Bibi?

Netanyahu: Especially today, with America. I know what America is. America is something that can easily be moved. Moved to the right direction.

Child: They say they're for us, but, it's like...

Netanyahu: They won't get in our way. They won't get in our way.

Child: On the other hand, if we do some something, then they...

Netanyahu: So let's say they say something. So they said it! They said it! 80% of the Americans support us. It's absurd. We have that kind of support and we say "what will we do with the..." Look. That administration [Clinton] was extremely pro-Palestinian. I wasn't afraid to maneuver there. I was not afraid to clash with Clinton. I was not afraid to clash with the United Nations. I was paying the price anyway, I preferred to receive the value. Value for the price.

In the following segment, Bibi boasts about how he emptied the Oslo Accords of meaning by an interpretation that made a mockery of them:

Woman: The Oslo Accords are a disaster.

Netanyahu: Yes. You know that and I knew that...The people [nation] has to know...

What were the Oslo Accords? The Oslo Accords, which the Knesset signed, I was asked, before the elections: "Will you act according to them?" and I answered: "yes, subject to mutuality and limiting the retreats." "But how do you intend to limit the retreats?" "I'll give such interpretation to the Accords that will make it possible for me to stop this galloping to the '67 [armistice] lines. How did we do it?

Narrator: The Oslo Accords stated at the time that Israel would gradually hand over territories to the Palestinians in three different pulses, unless the territories in question had settlements or military sites. This is where Netanyahu found a loophole.

Netanyahu: No one said what defined military sites. Defined military sites, I said, were security zones. As far as I'm concerned, the Jordan Valley is a defined military site.

Woman: Right [laughs]...The Beit She'an Valley.

Netanyahu: How can you tell. How can you tell? But then the question came up of just who would define what Defined Military Sites were. I received a letter -- to me and to Arafat, at the same time -- which said that Israel, and only Israel, would be the one to define what those are, the location of those military sites and their size. Now, they did not want to give me that letter, so I did not give the Hebron Agreement. I stopped the government meeting, I said: "I'm not signing." Only when the letter came, in the course of the meeting, to me and to Arafat, only then did I sign the Hebron Agreement. Or rather, ratify it, it had already been signed. Why does this matter? Because at that moment I actually stopped the Oslo Accord.

Woman: And despite that, one of our own people, excuse me, who knew it was a swindle, and that we were going to commit suicide with the Oslo Accord, gives them -- for example -- Hebron...

Netanyahu: Indeed, Hebron hurts. It hurts. It's the thing that hurts. One of the famous rabbis, whom I very much respect, a rabbi of Eretz Yisrael, he said to me: "What would your father say?" I went to my father. Do you know a little about my father's position?

He's not exactly a lily-white dove, as they say. So my father heard the question and said: "Tell the rabbi that your grandfather, Rabbi Natan Milikowski, was a smart Jew.

Tell him it would be better to give two percent than to give a hundred percent. And that's the choice here. You gave two percent and in that way you stopped the withdrawal. Instead of a hundred percent." The trick is not to be there and be broken. The trick is to be there and pay a minimal price."

At a point in the middle of the video Netanayhu asks the camera man to stop taping, but he continues...

Netanyahu says what he really thinks for the first time:

      Letter from Pollard's wife:

      http://www.jonathanpollard.org/2013/031213b.htm

He is eligible for parole, and may be released on November 21, 2015.

25 years in prison is a long time especially for someone who showed many, many signs of mental instability.

    3. SharkswithfrikingLazers  03/19/2013 05:05 PM Report

      Harry Truman: no visit

      Dwight Eisenhower: no visit

      John Kennedy: no visit

      Lyndon Johnson: no visit

Richard Nixon: sixth year of presidency

      Gerald Ford: no visit

Jimmy Carter: third year of presidency

      Ronald Reagan: no visit

      George H.W. Bush: no visit

Bill Clinton: 4 visits—in the second, third, fourth and sixth years of his presidency

George W. Bush: 2 visits—in the eighth year of his presidency

According to this list, only four of the last 11 presidents visited Israel during their presidency AND NOW OBAMA IN YEAR FIVE.

    4. SharkswithfrikingLazers  03/19/2013 05:02 PM Report

On February 13, 2012, President Obama released his FY 2013 budget that provides the largest aid package to Israel in U.S. history: $3.1 billion, a $25 million increase from 2012, which fulfills the commitment made in the ten year Memorandum of Understanding.

(Perhaps Obama saw where the money went during his visit?)

    5. Dasein  03/19/2013 02:07 PM Report

Obama would destroy his presidency if he participates in a militray attack on Iran. And he knows it. He also knows Israel does not have the power necessary to successfully attack Iran. Thus the best outcome is an attack by Israel which eliminates "nut and yahoo!" Bring it on, King Bibi. p.s. After Isreal's futile and failed attack, the world community will impose a solution in Palestine. (And about time!)

    6. REMant  03/19/2013 11:12 AM Report

Let me get this straight. Messrs Cook and Miller believe the president should not have rocked the boat in the Middle East, because the Israeli-American relationship is too important to both sides, Muslims are an unimportant voting block in the US, we still need to coddle the Sunnis, Palestinians aren't going to make peace anyway, and the ultra-orthodox still rule the Israeli nest so there's was no point in making trouble for Bibi. Do I detect any bias here? Or is it just sour grapes?

This seems at the very least to ignore the discovery of new oil in the US, and reports that indeed the Pharisees are on the way out, not only is any coalition going to insist on it, but also that the suckers are finding they have to go to work.

The past several decades these Jewish fundamentalists, who make up only 10 per cent of the population, have been able to wag the dog of Israeli politics, get themselves paid, and even exempted from military service, to study the Torah, just like their Muslim counterparts. If these trends continue, the govt says they could make up 15 percent by 2025. Activists have become increasingly assertive, pushing for gender-segregated buses and sidewalks, defacing billboards showing women, or trying to force women to dress modestly.

But it was recently reported: "The tide has already begun to turn. In 2011, for instance, 55 percent of ultra-Orthodox women and 45 percent of the men held jobs, up from 48 percent and 33 percent respectively nine years earlier, according to Israel's central bank and its central bureau of statistics. The numbers, while still far below the national average of around 80 percent, show the community is far from the homogeneous mass viewed by outsiders."
