Carmelo Anthony is very charming and has lots of charisma.
Charlie, perhaps Mr. "Your wife tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios" would have been a better choice?
Kevin Garnett still plays at 36 and apparently gets into the head of his opponent. (Cerebral and old which is perfect for the show.)
He also only makes $12M a year--about $7M less.

Love to see more professional athletes sit at his table. Interestingly enough, I found Melo's diction and manner to be somewhat like MJ's. They use similar phrasing. He seems to be a good guy who's true to the game he loves, for anyone who truly loves their sport, will do their utmost to make it accessible to others. In building the courts for youth who need them, he is doing precisely that. Nice job.

Charlie, now this is what the NBA should aspire to:

Retiring a number of a player who did not even graduate from your school--no left your school for money over education--exemplifies college sports.
The name of the gym at Syracuse should be renamed "Academics Assuage Sports Gymnasium" or the ASS gym.

Despite his successful year, Anthony was distracted from by all of the attention, and was suspended on several occasions for skipping classes.[7]
Although Anthony's grades dropped under a C average and his scores on the ACT were below acceptable standards, he knew that he needed to improve in the classroom to qualify academically for Syracuse.[7] For his senior year, his mother considered transferring him to a different school.[7]

(Charlie, this is the guy you want to ask about education. If it wasn't for basketball would he be in prison or would he have finished his education? Perhaps you might have played some clips for him from your interviews on education and asked Melo to comment.)

On Thetis' hand. Americans, do you have the gut ready to hold Thetis' hand? Who is capable of handling Thetis's hand? Communist? It is obvious that everyone hold Steve's apple phone. United States? What the United States really is? Look around the world map. No hand. The hand should be earned. I find out the ax by the way. Also, I understand one imaginary scene of Micheal Jackson's 'Ghost' in which a hand holding a mirror from his gut. Horrible, isn't it?

MENTAL HEALTH MVP
http://www.chron.com/opinion/editorials/article/Mental-health-MVP-4283480.php
"White contended that the number of NBA players with mental health disorders "is way over 26 percent." The young man is no doctor, of course, but he's probably right - about the NBA and any other workplace."
(According to the National Institute of Mental Health, 26 percent of Americans over the age of 18 suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder in any given year. Royce White, the Rockets' very talented first-round draft pick in 2012, contends the NBA percentage is much higher. Evidence from this interview Charlie tells us that Royce is probably right.)
